The apartment was clean, comfortable, and spacious for a couple. The location was very convenient, within walking distance of Nea Chora Beach, and you can also easily walk to the Old Venetian Harbour (Limani), restaurants, and shops. Communication with the host was easy, and they were readily available when contacted.Unfortunately, we experienced two significant issues during our stay.The first was the Wi-Fi, which was essentially unusable. The connection would appear briefly and then continuously drop, making it very difficult to use. We contacted the host about the problem and were told that the Wi-Fi would be addressed, but unfortunately, the issue was never resolved during our stay.The second, and more important issue for us, was parking. The listing indicated that parking was available, which was an important factor when we chose this accommodation because we had a rental car. In reality, there is no designated parking—only street parking. During high season in Chania, finding street parking in this area is extremely difficult, and we often had to search and park several blocks away.When we raised this with the host, we were told that there was a problem with the website and that it was not something they were responsible for. While I understand that a website error may be outside the host’s direct control, the information displayed in the listing is what guests rely on when deciding where to stay.
