Casa De Potie was built in 2023 aiming to offer accommodation that combines the nobility of the past with the comfort of today.

It is located in the heart of the old town of Chania on the historic Potie Street. Potie Street has been the heart of trade in Chania before the interwar period, while today it has taken on a more modern form thanks to the restaurants that have opened in recent years and attract mainly young people to the new haunts of the city!

It is conveniently located in the old town of Chania, at a distance of 1.2 km. from the beach of Nea Chora, 1.8 km. from Kladissos beach and 500m. from the old Venetian port of Chania. The property is approximately 100m. from Mitropoleos Square, 200m. from the Folklore Museum of Chania and 2.4 km. from the Archaeological Museum of Chania. The accommodation is 80m. from the city center and less than 1 km. from Koum Kapi beach.

Ideal for families, accommodates up to 4 people in two double beds. Casa 2-3 consists of two rooms connected by an internal door. Each room has its own bathroom. Casa 2 has a balcony overlooking the city and the Church of Agios Nikolaos Splantzias, a special point in the city since it is the only holy church in Greece that has a bell tower and a minaret at the same time as during the period of the Turkish occupation it was turned into a mosque.
The room is fully soundproofed and equipped with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a refrigerator, a coffee maker, a shower, free toiletries and a wardrobe.

Couldn't be happier with this place. It was spotless and it was clean every day. Located in the heart of Chania, within a walking distance to all the trendy restaurants and attractions like the mosque and the lighthouse. The view from the balcony to the cathedral was beautiful.

Perfection Location

This location was absolutely ideal. The moment you step outside, you're greeted by charming coffee shops, a variety of restaurants, and numerous boutique shops. Whether you're looking for a place to dine or shop, options abound. The neighborhood is easy to navigate, and the atmosphere feels completely safe. The property itself has the ambiance of a boutique hotel, offering the same level of service you'd expect from a hotel stay. We traveled to Chania with another couple and had adjoining rooms. Each room was well-appointed with a king-size bed, television, a long vanity table with a stool for convenience, and a mini-fridge. Complimentary tea, coffee, and small cookies were also provided, adding a thoughtful touch to the overall experience. Our bathroom was spacious and perfectly suited to our needs. In contrast, our friends’ bathroom featured a separate shower and a standalone toilet for added convenience. A very kind and courteous staff member attended to the room each morning, ensuring it was thoroughly cleaned. Please note, the rooms are located on an upper level accessible only by stairs, as there is no elevator available, so be prepared to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs. Also note that taxis are not permitted to drop passengers directly at the entrance. We were dropped off at the end of the block and walked the short distance to our accommodation, which was not an inconvenience. Overall, our experience was excellent, and we highly recommend this location!
