The room smelt as soon as we entered, couldn’t distinguish if it was body odour or smoke. It was suffocating. Soon realised it was smoke, all the linen stank of it, especially the blankets and towels. It was impregnated into everything. This along with the lumpy pillows and mattress that caved in made for very little sleep. I never usually wrote reviews, especially but ones but the smoke was so bad if affected my breathing and I didn’t get much sleep at all. Not great for the kids either. All in all a horrendous stay.

Nice little stop over

The hotel was as described a good 2/3 star and nice and clean. Breakfast was good, plenty of Choice. Location good for meal out, cheeky evening beer.

The property is very dated with very small beds which are not that comfortable. The place is clean but very dated. e cannot comment on the breakfast as we left early. The reception was very helpful. Know the area so was not a problem to find somewhere to eat and get a drink

This was a great value stay for the four of us. The welcome from the lady was friendly, the room was basic but clean and functional. The ensuite bathroom cubicle was a little dated, but there was a kettle in the room (unusual for France in our experience). The towels and bedlinen were both lovely quality and spotless. Road noise is a factor, but we chose to have the window open so it may have been much better had we shut the window and shutters.

Great location and parking. Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel has a lot of potential and the owner seems to be very motivated to improve and renovate, and it would benefit from further modernisation. The town is a must see, as it is very beautiful place to visit.

Good hotel close to centre

Good location half way through France; good half way stop for returning ferry. This hotel is only a place to get your head down for the onward journey. You would not want to spend anytime more time than that.

Nice personally run hotel

The hotel is run by a really nice woman who is gradually updating everything. However it is basic. Our room was small but it was spotlessly clean. We did not have the breakfast so cannot comment on that. It is a short walk into town. The town is nice with lots of restaurants and a river running through.

Chambre triple dans un état lamentable. Fuite au plafond avec fissure dans le mur, présente depuis un moment car complétement sèche. Salle de douche vieille et sale, avec wc sanibroyeur idéale pour reveiller l'hotel à chaque chasse d'eau. Cette chambre ne devrait pas etre proposée, pour 80€ c'est honteux. Le chambre ne correspond plus aux photos.

A very nice hotel I stayed at with my family, quite good quality for the price. I recommend it. There were some negative reviews, but it didn’t turn out that way. We were greeted with a smile at the door, and they were very sincere and friendly.

Wir mussten 15 Minuten vor der Türe warten bis ubs auf gemacht wurde. Der Vorhang in Zimmer war sehr dreckig und die Tapete sehr abgenutzt. Die Betten waren bequem und das Personal freundlich. Parken kostete 4€ extra

Hôtel bien situé, très propre mais au confort minimal : literie correcte mais mobilier insuffisant (2 chaises pour 3, abîmées, écran de télévision à peine plus grand que celui d'un ordinateur ! Point très négatif : La télécommande du Volet roulant électrique ne fonctionne pas, signalé à notre arrivée mais le réceptionniste n'a rien pu faire : donc réveillés à l'aube. Pas de geste commercial pour ce désagrément.
