Calm and total tranquility in the countryside, nestled on the side of a hill on a small well-exposed southern plateau - dominating the famous & sublime hilly bocage of the Charolais-Brionnais stretching as far as the eye can see - enjoying a splendid unobstructed view of the surrounding countryside. vast meadows of pastures, forests, rivers & ponds full of fish. Setting & site totally restful, rejuvenating & relaxing. Splendid panorama & landscapes (note the presence of wind turbines in the distance, "on the horizon"). 4.5 km from the small village of Chalmoux rich in an elegant listed Romanesque church from the 12th century & the remains of an old feudal castle, also known for its past as a former mining town of pyrite, iron and copper formerly exploited by the Compagnie du Cre usot (Chizeuil mining concession).
