The Gîte de la Bergère is situated in the Plaine de l’Angélus park, opposite the estate’s swimming pool. With a private hot tub, it can accommodate 4 to 6 people, has a floor area of over 100 m² and comprises two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a living/dining room with a cathedral ceiling, and a fully equipped kitchen.
Outside, guests have access to a terrace and a relaxation area overlooking the swimming pool. The gîte is decorated in a style that blends history and modernity; it features a TV in every bedroom and free Wi-Fi access. Parking is free. The park features several flower-filled and tree-lined areas with a number of terraces where you can stroll and relax at your leisure. For those wishing to relax, there is a private hot tub for five people, and for more activities, a swimming pool and a boules court are available. We can also lend you bicycles or arrange for a massage therapist to visit.

The Gîte de Bergère is 2 km from the centre of Barbizon, just a few hundred metres from the Forest of Fontainebleau. It is close to most of the historic sites: 15 minutes’ drive from the Château de Fontainebleau, 20 minutes from the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte, and 15 minutes from the Dannemois mill. It is also close to the golf courses at Cély and Fontainebleau, the Grand Parquet equestrian centre, and climbing spots.
