I would highly recommend staying at Hotel Uxlabil! They provided a delicous breakfast each day, filtered water was available, and there were hot showers. The staff was friendly and helpful! The property is beautiful and you get great views of the lake. It is close to town if you want to walk or they can call a tuk-tuk to come get you. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!

The most amazing view. We spent a lot of time just at the hotel because of the gorgeous view. You can also use the kayaks free of charge. Very close to the boat deck and very kind and helpful staff. Very nice breakfast was also included with our reservation. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant which was delicious

Good cliffside hotel with sweeping views of the town and lake. The staff were incredibly friendly and even helped with luggage down the steep winding steps. The restaurant served fresh, delicious food, and the lakeside path made it easy to walk to town without needing a tuk‑tuk. A convenient and memorable stay.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel. Everything exceeded my expectations from the moment I arrived. The view of the lake from the hotel was absolutely breathtaking and one of the highlights of my stay. Waking up to such a beautiful view every day made the experience even more special. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the service was outstanding throughout my stay. The food was delicious, with every meal being fresh and full of flavor. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making it easy to relax and enjoy every moment. Overall, everything was perfect. Highly recommend staying here in San Juan! It's a bit off the beaten path so it's quiet and peaceful but still super close to everything. The included breakfast was great. They have their own private dock to make for easier travel after your stay. I wish I had known I could use that when I got here! The balcony was absolutely stunning and I ended up relaxing here much more than anticipated. They also have kayaks you can use on the property.

This hotel was exactly what I needed. It was close to town but far enough away where it felt secluded and peaceful. The view of the lake and the breakfast were spectacular. It is a bit tricky to get to if you’re not familiar with the area, you can show the driver of the Lancha the name of the hotel and they will drop you off right at the dock. Otherwise you’ll have to walk 10 minutes from the town dock. The shower doesn’t get super hot, it gets warm. Overall I’d recommend this place and would stay there again, all the people there were super friendly and helpful as well.
