To the north are picturesque medieval towns, such as Motovun, where an international film festival is held every year at the end of July. Visit the nearby Uka Nature Park, where you can enjoy the extraordinary nature adorned with many protected and rare animal and plant species. From the top of Vojak you have a phenomenal panoramic view of the Kvarner islands, Istria and Rijeka. Enjoy well-maintained hiking and cycling trails, nature trails and promenades, the most famous of which are the Slap promenade and the Vela Draga nature trail.
