Boutique Hotels in Centro Storico

This was a nice hotel right in the shopping district. A block or two from the Duomo. I say "was" because it was last renovated in the early 80's. I should have taken photos. Dated doesn't begin to describe the room. The yellowed wallpaper was peeling in many places. The carpet might be clean, but it is stained. That being said, my wife liked it as we were finally in a formal hotel after a series of lobby-less hotel type situations. The breakfast was plentiful and good. There is a rooftop bar (seen in the pictures) that has nice views of the city, but not really a good view of the Duomo. The charcuterie board + drink combo is very much worth it. I think that reservations are expected, but we got in without one.

It was a delightful hotel in a nice Italian style. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Great hotel with excelent location and great staff. The room was also incredible, very well maintained and confortable. Fromt desk staff was very helpfull and again location is superb.
