The place is fine, I just used it as a stop on road trip. The only problem was a long wait to check in as staff are also serving in restaurant. Suggest not checking in at meal times.

VÀldeligt trevligt stÀlle med en riktigt fin och varm service. Rummet i dalahuset var fint men inte helt perfekt stÀdat. Dessutom var det vÀldigt lyhört och vi stördes av de som bodde ovanför oss. Men summeringen Àr ett fantastiskt stÀlle, vÀrt ett besök!

Our family at Gammelgarden

It's such a gorgeous inn but we came and went without feeling any warmth from the staff. Literally no one welcomed us or bid us goodbye. We had to break the ice with the waitstaff. Perhaps that's what happens in a much larger chain hotel, but certainly not what one would expect from a cozy inn. It is the only thing that dampened our spirits during our first time in SĂ€len. They also should prepare some child-friendly meals, during lunch and dinner. But that is Yorker able compared to the general demeanor of the staff.

Fantastic!!!

We SO loved our stay at this very cute, historic hotel! The room was lovely & comfy. We enjoyed having a door to the outside too, so we could sit out there at the table & chairs. The hotel grounds were really well cared for & groomed. All the flowers were gorgeous. We also really enjoyed the historic ski area decor since we live in Colorado, which is ski country USA!

Rent och fint, otroligt vÀnlig och trevlig personal. Rummet var nybyggt/nyrenoverat och superfint. Bra tillgÄng till parkering samt laddplatser för de som behöver detta. Maten i restaurangen Àr Àven den fantastisk, gillar man Risotto, sÄ Àr deras variant gjord pÄ Bovete bland de bÀttre risotto vi smakat!
