Room was clean, decor was lovely - felt like we were in Italy! However it was very quiet and deserted when we arrived (Wednesday) with no restaurants or shops open downstairs (which made it feel quite eerie as it seemed we were the only guests at the time!) but it was lively from Friday with everything open.

Overall quite excellent, only real issue was the brick walls block the wifi; but the hotel itself couldn’t be faulted. Lots of space to put things, lots of light options and PowerPoints, fridge wasn’t great but it worked. 4.5 overall if I could. Happy to round it up though, as it’s the best I’ve stayed at.

Whilst the overall location seems interesting, we had a terrible room. Easily the worst motel room I've experienced in the last 10-15 years. No water pressure, no hot water (just warm), seriously uncomfortable bedding, noisy internal room with frosted 'internal' windows. We looked in another room, and it seemed reasonable compared to ours.

The renovations/decor was fantastic. The room was large and overall pleasing. The shower taps need attention, the bed was very squeeky/noisey. The room appeared clean however my wife did get a small piece of glass in her foot.
