We stayed in a family room by the pool. It was awesome. Great property. Lovely staff. Comfy beds. Delicious breakfast. Pool was warm. Hot tub could be hotter. Wish there was a microwave in the room. Pool was very nice, and while the resort does overall seems family friendly, the pool is overall somewhat small and includes a swim up bar...so kids jumping, thrashing, splashing around isn't necessarily compatible. I did feel like I had to police my kids quite a bit to prevent them splashing people sitting at the bar/the bar itself just due to the size of the pool.

We loved our stay at Hotel Poco a Poco! The location is perfect—close to town but still peaceful—and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful with recommendations. Our room was clean and cozy, and the restaurant served excellent meals. The only downside was that the pool and jacuzzi were under renovation during our visit, but everything else more than made up for it. Highly recommended for a Monteverde stay!

Good experience overall

Great service. Excellent breakfast buffet and good restaurant. There is a lot of dining option in a walking distance also. Nice tropical garden where we can observe hummingbirds and a toucan. The only bothering thing was that the breaker of the A/C had to be repaired twice in 2 days (it get very humid in the room without ventilation even if it is not that warm) but we had service for it has soon as requested

It’s a nice little hotel tucked away in the small town of Monteverde. It has a nice pool and close proximity to the area attractions and dining options. Safe, clean and a decent breakfast spread.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Our room had a great layout that included a minibar, in room hot tub and walkout patio. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and the breakfast had great options for everyone!

Fabulous

Stayed for 2 nights. Buffet style breakfast which was excellent. Fantastic pool and grounds. Staff excellent. Some lovely restaurants in Monteverde but not an easy walk if you have any mobility issues. We loved it. Also 5 minute walk to the “ficus tree”. Would recommend doing the San Juan, sugar cane, chocolate and coffee tour and the hanging bridges.

10/10 hotel. Family of 4 (2 adults 2 12 yr old). Staffs were helpful and very friendly. No uber in this town. They helped us arranged taxi pickup and drop off. Location is perfect quick walk to downtown, supermarkets and restaurants. Room is spacious and clean. Water pressure was a little low for shower. Otherwise everything is perfect. Loved the marshmallow they provided. Would recommend and would stay here again.
