They turned the water off and when it came back on, it was brown the same color as Coca-Cola and I couldn’t take a shower after I got off at 12 hour shift.

Staff was polite and made sure the breakfast area was well stocked and clean. Breakfast was yogurt, toast, waffels, oatmeal, muffins, coffee and tea.The room was clean and we enjoyed our stay. Try Los Compadres a few doors down, the food was excellent.

We had to arrive here early as we had flown in on a red eye. Normal check in time is 3pm but we had a wedding to get ready for. The staff were extremely helpful and were able to get us into our room early. I would definitely look to stay here again when I am back in Cedar Rapids.

Room was fine for a quick one night stay. The lady at the front desk was very nice and allowed us to check in a bit early. Hotel is dated and has a musty smell. Breakfast options were not as good as other hotels. Only “hot” option was waffles, and no toppings for the oatmeal. Overall, ok

Best Accomodations on a Budget

We travel to Cedar Rapids frequently to visit family and have stayed in several different hotels along the way. This Quality Inn and Suites was hands down the BEST. In addition to the price being very reasonable and the property being very clean; the staff from the front desk to house keeping was so friendly, helpful and kind. My husband and I felt as though we had checked into a hotel full of friends. We have found our new " home" away from home.

There was gross food crumbs on the bed when I went in. When I asked for a new room, I was told there were none. Coffee was cold in the morning and the muffin I grabbed was moldy. I got some bites on my ankle. They appeared to be fleas.

Booked a king room and was given a double queen. The morning staff was rude and lazy about keep the breakfast items stocked. The front desk employee was sitting at the front counter cursing out someone on the phone while 8 -10 guest were sitting in the breakfast lounge area and could hear her everything she was saying.
