The room was nice but I did not have hot water in the shower and I couldn’t get an extra towel. I also think it’s ridiculous that the room has to be inspected before you leave.

This stay was perfect, as everything was accessible. The hotel is across from the water taxi terminal so arrival was easy. All the restaurants, stores, and beaches are easily accessible. The staff was very helpful and the room was beautiful.

The room was clean,I would like for them to put a safe in the room,live tv would be great,I like hotels with a bar and a restaurant,this hotel doesn’t have that,they should look into adding that.

Excellent location right across from the water taxi. Everything in town is walkable and this hotel was no exception. The front desk staff could use some training and need things explained several times. It took getting used to for us not to flush toilet paper. The AC works but could definitely use an upgrade. Would stay again.

The hotel is beautiful but it’s still under construction: they are putting in an elevator and a roof top swimming pool. They do not have dining on site. However, there are wonderful places to dine, swim and shop in walking distance. It also has a view of the sea. L&E

The Caye Hotel is in a great location on this island. It's right across from the water taxi, close to a large number of restaurants, and right off one of the main "roads". As of March 6th 2025, they are still working on adding elevators and a pool. It looks like they are nearing completion of the public rooftop area. Will be really nice once complete. The only issue we had was that the window style in the rooms (glass slats) do not seal out all noise, so you can hear the activity outside the hotel in the evenings. It did not bother us since we brought a white noise machine, but it is something worth noting.

Got transferred to another room due to a water leak. First three nights were fine- as soon as we switched we woke up with bites in our face and legs. After pulling the bedsheets back, the bed had evidence of bed bug feces! Hotel is trying to say it’s sand flees but we didn’t have these very obvious bites in our face at bedtime.

The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. Super convenient to the ferry That said, the room smelled terribly of chlorine and kept the smell for the full three days. There was major construction going on and no warming was given ahead of time, resulting in the elevator being out and the main entry being a construction zone. It should be noted that the "ocean view" rooms look out over a heavily lit basketball court and the main ferry dock.
