Hotels with Indoor Pools in Cavan

Stayed at the Cavan Crystal Hotel for a couple of nights recently and had a mostly positive experience. The hotel itself is in a convenient location just outside Cavan town, with easy access to local amenities.  The pluses: The rooms were spotlessly clean and well-maintained, which made a big difference after a long day. The beds were comfortable, and the overall standard felt like a solid 4-star property. What really stood out was the staff—they were genuinely helpful, friendly, and went out of their way to assist with anything we needed. From check-in to recommendations for dinner, the service was excellent and added a warm, personal touch.  The downsides: Unfortunately, our toilet had a persistent leak that wasn’t fixed despite reporting it, which was frustrating. More significantly, there was no air conditioning in the room. During our stay it got quite warm, and opening windows helped only a little. A working AC unit would have made a huge improvement, especially in the summer months.  Overall, I’d still recommend the Cavan Crystal Hotel for its cleanliness, helpful staff, and nice facilities like the pool and restaurant. With a couple of maintenance tweaks, it would be even better. Would stay again if those issues are addressed

I stayed in a lovely room, perhaps a new wing ? Not sure room 136 if not new it's certainly re furbished !! It's a friendly hotel with good local.support it seems. It was a quick over night stay, breakfast was good cooked to order. The one thing that has changed so much seems to be the early closing of the public bars in hotels. After a long day or returning to the hotel after an evening out it would be nice to have a drink. There did nt seem to be an option at 10.45 on the night I stayed. I will happily stay there again.
