The place was really well located. The hotel was clean and everyone was very friendly. The pool is great, perfect for families.

Cauterets is stunning by this hotel is average
Very basic standard. Ikea furniture, terrible beds, no service. The Balneo that refer to thermal bath are only large jacuzzi. it is ok for young on budget. C'est très basic, l'ameublement vient de chez Ikea et il n y a aucun service. le personnel de reception est tres gentil, mais incapable de nous donner quelque information que ce soit sur la station et sans oublier qu on vous demande de vider vos poubelle. Un minimum de service "hotelier" serait pas mal. on voulais emmener les enfants faire de la luge, la seule réponse a nos questions ont été d'aller voir l office du tourisme ( chose que nous n'ont pas fait car ils étaient ferme). Résultat, nous sommes aller au col du tourmalet,La prochaine fois nous essayerons Barege ou la mongie.

A trip to Cauterets.
The location of the hotel was fantastic- right in the middle of everything. Unfortunately we arrived during a heat wave and they had no airconditioning so we were most uncomfortable. The pool allowed great relief from the sweltering heat! The rooms were very dated but all and all the bed were comfortable and the towels were fluffy!

Good pools.
Fantastic pools and spa area. Wonderfully friendly staff. Extremely expensive overall. We had the last room and paid a fortune for it!! Do book parking before you get there as it was full on our arrival and there is no where to park in the resort when it is busy.

Superbe Hotel
Week end au ski en famille, l'hôtel est très bien situé pour récuperer le télécabine à pied. La chambre (studio pour 4) est très bien, confortable, propre et tout ce qu'il faut. Bar, restaurant et jeux pour enfant accessible. très bien situé pour se promener par la suite en ville.. Au top. Petit Bemol le coût pour stationner dans la ville de cauteret. L'hotel devrait penser à un partenariat avec la ville pour éviter ce coût très excessif.

Un séjour sans Balnéo ni Restaurant !
Le studio que nous avons loué était très bien, correspondait aux photos et descriptif. Le Check in s’est bien passé bien qu’on nous fasse payer les taxes de séjour en début de séjour … étonnant mais peu importe ! Le studio était très propre, la literie bonne, les équipements bien. En revanche, 2 grosses déceptions sur cette petite escapade en amoureux de 2 nuits : la balnéo et le restaurant le Garden. Il est inadmissible de mettre en avant une Balnéo qui n’en est clairement pas une : il fait hyper froid, les bassins sont froids, les jets marchent une fois sur deux, le plafond est moisi et certaines parties de la toiture sont enlevés laissant apparaître les tuyaux et câbles, le sol est congelé, les vestiaires hommes femmes ensemble et trop petit, une douche sans toit bref une honte. Le restaurant le Garden : un burger végé pas bon du tout (oignons, ketchup, cœur artichaut pané c’est tout). Aucune préparation, le pain que de l’air, insipide etc. Bref une déception monumentale. Je ne parle pas de l’accueil du restaurant qui est déplorable et de plus lorsqu’on fait part de notre mécontentement c’est à peine si on reçoit des excuses ou quoique ce soit … une des hôtesses nous agresse dans ses propos et lève les yeux au ciel ! Incroyable du jamais vu ! On a quand même fini au carrefour city pour s’acheter un dessert ! Enfin, au départ, la réception nous redemande de payer les taxes de séjour (payées à l’arrivée) … pas beaucoup de cohérence malheureusement.

Hotel qui veut être un Airbnb, le bruit en plus.
L'hôtel en lui même est propre, agréable et les services de qualité. Le plus gros problème a été le bruit constant et quotidien pour causes de travaux. Nous sommes rappelés dans le règlement d'être silencieux mais ces règles ne s'appliquent pas à l'hotel. Avec des enfants en très bas âge qui ont BESOIN de faire la sieste pour leur santé, sans avoir été prévenu, ni accomodé après avoir exprimé notre mécontentement, notre séjour a été très négativement impacté. Dommage pour un hotel se voulant familial. Dernier point négatif, Garden & City fait de l'hotelerie façon low cost. Les chambres en apparence abordable, se voient agrémentées de frais si vous ne videz pas la corbeille, lavez pas la cuisine, rangez pas la vaisselle, empruntez un peignoir, demandez à ce que le service de chambre passe, prenez une place de parking, etc. C'est un hotel qui voudrait être un Airbnb, mais il faut se rappeller que les gens qui viennent à l'hotel veulent en général....un service d'hotelerie, pas être facturé à chaque geste. ps: petit dej à presque 40€ pour deux adultes par jour. Quel dommage, l'hotel pourrait être bien mieux.
