Not sure if this is your area, but I had issues with transit in Hong Kong. I printed the boarding passes from the online e-mail and cut them out. These were fine at Melbourne check in and going through immigration. I had a problem at Hong Kong transfer as they would not accept the cut out boarding passes and said they must be on A4 paper size. I had to spend quite a bit of time locating the Cathay desk to get replacement boarding passes issued so that my family could catch the connecting flight - just ! If this is the rule for the transfer at Hong Kong airport this should be conveyed by Cathay not to cut out the boarding pass from the A4 paper, and also Cathay check in staff at Melbourne (or any airport) should be aware of this rule of the issues this causes.
