I won’t stay anywhere else. Every single staff member was competent and friendly. They arranged for anything you needed. This is a family owned boutique property and they do it right. The beach was lovely. Collin Hunte made the best recommendations and had the best stories. Fantastic vacation.

Villa Beach Cottages in a gem in the middle of paradise! The property on the beach is both beautiful and charming. Colin Hunt, the owner sat us down for a lovely chat and the. Mapped out sites and attractions for us based on our wish list. Kenosha at the front desk then mapped out our days pairing things in a way that maximized our time and enjoyment. She scheduled everything including our drivers! All we had to do was show up! The Island and its people were amazingly beautiful and provided one of our greatest vacation experiences ever! St. Lucia is a must vacation and the Villa Beach Cottages offer a quiet, low key respite on a beautiful beach! Highly recommended and thank you VBC for a wonderful and memorable vacation!

First time in over 30 years of vacationing utilizing Expedia that I am leaving a negative review. Well warranted though. Arrived as planned and property is well maintained, great staff and just off the water. HOWEVER, upon check in we learned our room was not a beachfront (not a huge issue), but not mentioned through Expedia. Instead, we were in a room 30 feet from a 4 lane major thoroughfare. The unregulated motorcycles with no exhausts, sirens, horns at all hours of the night not only meant no sitting out on the small deck, but also that we had to wear earplugs to even sleep! I wish I were kidding. The owner, while empathetic admitted that they were "aware of the noise issue" with our unit. I attempted to find another place to stay for the week, but all decent places were booked. Bottom line is this: I booked 3 months in advance. If there was a warning or mention of hiway noise (instead of ocean front as the pictures imply), I WOULD HAVE BOOKED ELSWHERE. Instead, and thousands of dollars later, we had a terrible stay due to a room that should be storage and not billed as a "beach cottage". Expedia, action needs to occur as this bookings descriptions were misleading. The owner offered to move us to a unit just below, but it was the same distance. They stated they would try to seal the door to the deck (off the master) as there was daylight showing around the entire door, but no repairs were made. For reference, I lived in downtown Houston, Dallas, metro DC. This was worse.

Overall love this property… located directly on the beach next to a sandals resort. Very quiet and layed back. The one thing I can say is it’s not safe to walk to the grocery store due to no sidewalks and busy highway. You will definitely need to drive or take a taxi. There really is not anything walkable due to this situation.

Beauiful beachfront villas in a beautiful country with kind people. Nothing negative to say. The property is as good as it looks in the pictures. Right on a beautiful beach you can lounge on whole day. The rooms were nice, big and well constructed with upscale bed, furniture and kitchen. Shower in the bathroom could have been nicer. All staff including reception, restaurant, land maintenance, beach attendants was polite and helpful. Facilities are all well kept and look new. Landscaping is beautiful with flowers, trees and two swimming pools although the beach is the main attraction where you will enjoy the water and the sand. Food choices at restaurant are limited but decent. Castries downtown, Piegon island and Rodney Bay area are close by with a lot of dining and shopping options. Great place for couples as well as families. We were glad we chose Castries over Sofriere.

The property is very quiet and the overall size is perfect. The beach is beautiful anda nice size for the small amount of cottages. The one bedroom cottage was the perfect size with all of the kitchen equipment and cookware you would ever need. The staff is very kind and accommodating. They thoroughly clean the cottage every day. The on site restaurant is ok. A little pricey for dinner with small portions but the food is pretty good. The manager Colin meets with guest privately to give information on places to go and a little hisory about the property and the area. We really enjoyed meeting with him. I would definitely stay here again

This is a safe high quality property . Ocean in front is a big bonus for swimming . Service was very good . I would not recommend staying in the rear units . There is a busy hi way behind the property and can be noisy . Most units face the ocean and have views . Sunset is a big bonus also very well located for that . However you do need a way to get around if you want to visit other food options . There is one good food option on site and they do have a store to make a few things in your room if you want . Colin is running a very good operation and has impressive island knowledge to share . This is a little gem of a resort . Remember you are approx 1.5 hrs from international airport . Very chill place if you just want to lay low and relax perfect spot .

The beach cottage we were in was great. We loved using the kitchen to make a couple meals. The beach was great and we really enjoyed our massages in the gazebo. Unfortunately the hot tub wouldnt heat while we were there and we got bit by a lot of mosquitoes (more than in Soufriere) so make sure you keep up with the bug spray even when at the beach. Overall we enjoyed the room and the beach.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Beach Cottages. The pool was a lovely size for the children and the beach was one of the nicest we visited on the island. The beach floor was flat and smooth and didn’t drop off as some of the other beaches did and it was.right, there! Colin’s local information was very helpful. We enjoyed a fun day trip to Soufriere with a local taxi driver, even though we had rented a car for the duration of our stay.

Property location was great. About an hour and a half drive from the airport to the facility. Staff would do anything you asked! Dining and bar was very nice. Washer/dryer did not work. Was a perfect get away for my Fiancée and I. Would highly recommend.

A perfect peace of Paradise

We spent a wonderful week at The Villa Beach Cottages with Colin and his amazing team of staff. We were met at the airport by Austin who drove us to the accommodation which was very welcome after a long flight and at night on unfamiliar and ‘interesting’ roads. The accommodation was absolutely lovely and it was so nice to fall asleep and wake up to the sound of waves breaking on the beach. We really cannot praise this place too much, it was a lovely place to stay. All of the staff are so friendly, the rooms are large and beautifully furnished, the kitchen is equipped with everything you could want, the pool areas are lovely and the location adjacent to a beautiful deserted beach is just perfect. We hired a car from the accommodation for the week so were able to fully explore the island and we loved our meeting with the owner Colin on the first day where we were welcomed with a rum punch and Colin gave us lots of tips where to go and where to eat and every one was spot on!! Although set in a quiet location, right outside the entrance you can catch the local mini bus that takes you all over the place so we enjoyed lovely evenings out at nearby Rodney Bay and the marina. There is also a restaurant on site which we ate at several times with home cooked food that was delicious. We would 100% recommend Villa Beach Cottages as a perfect place to stay on this beautiful island and definitely intend to return!!!

Property was great quite location between Castries and Rodney Bay. Close enough to both locations by car/taxi to explore, but not right in the action. Beach right on your doorstep, nice pool area, massage and dining available on property. Staff great and always kept room and common areas clean, even surprised us with a honeymoon fruit platter and balloons! Would highly recommend as a base to explore St Lucia if you enjoy your quiet time at the end of the day.

We stayed at Village Beach Cottages at the end of our trip. We had previously stayed at a de other properties at a comparable price point and they fell short. We were so happy with the friendly staff who were a warm welcome and offered us a rum punch and cool to after a very long journey. Our room was clean and the views were pleasant. The beach here is nice and quiet compared to other beaches. We used one of the few kayaks and paddles to the island which was a fun excursion. The little cafe at the hotel doesn’t look like much but the food is actually incredible and feels like having a meal made with love at home. We feel so rejuvenated after a crazy adventurous trip prior to our arrival and only stayed here for a couple of days. I would love to stay longer next time. Thank you to the wonderful staff and owner. You can tell the good vibes start at the top. See you next time!
