Hotel was perfectly adequate. Rooms are old and dated, but the staff are friendly and helpful. Complimentary continental breakfast available helps save a bit of money. Central to highways and there are restaurants and grocery stores nearby.

The waterslide was out of order. There were no towels in the pool area. Breakfast was terrible. Juice machine was out of order, the one waffle machine had a long wait and then the waffles were really gross. We couldn’t even eat them. Tried the hard boiled egg and it was white all the way through and tasted terrible. We left and had to go buy breakfast.

The super 8 in Castlegar is worth staying at. The pool area is top notch and the breakfast is one of the best I’ve ever had. Good rates and friendly staff.

This was our second trip here and we have returned for the bunk beds/themed rooms, ammenties and great staff. This year was really unfortunate, the slide was not working (no warning or discount on the price) and the staff shares it had not been working for 4 months. Travelling with kids, that's a huge appeal over other options. Overall, the property needs some TLC which we've ignored because of the pool and option of breakfast and the gym. While they offer breakfast, which I would say is a hit for the kids but not us adults. While there is a gym, it's very much in need of an upgrade and TLC. As much as we like the staff, I don't think that we will be staying again

No mention that the restaurant was under renovations. My no smoking room stunk of cigarette smoke. The “breakfast” was pathetic (yogurt was even warm). Place looks likes it’s cutting corners to make money. Will never stay there again
