The apartment is entirely in Tuscan style with ceilings with exposed wooden beams, terracotta tiles, stone exteriors and loggetta.

Guido’s house is an apartment in a building with others that we could hear through the walls. She advertises a fireplace as an amenity but when I asked her where we could get wood she said we couldn’t use it…that it was only for decoration. It’s January, so we were disappointed. The heat is controlled by the host and twice I had to text her because the radiators were off and we were getting cold. She got her son to write a detailed note about how to maintain the heat. I think she attempted to do that on day one but we didn’t understand her explanations. So we worked that out but then her son sent a message

Wir wären gerne länger geblieben...

...wenn wir nicht schon unseren nächsten Stopp gebucht hätten. Nachdem wir unser Fahrzeug direkt an der Unterkunft parkten, wurden wir sogleich von den Besitzern willkommen geheißen. Fiammetta und Gianfranco sind zwei sehr herzliche Personen, wir fühlten uns sogleich wie zu Hause. Die Unterkunft selbst ist super ausgestattet und auch sehr groß. Leider konnten wir aufgrund des Wetters den Garten nicht allzusehr genießen. Die Lage ist perfekt für Tagesausflüge in die nahegelegenen Städte Arezzo, Cortona, Siena, Montepulciano, etc. Auch das Restaurant der Besitzer (etwa 10 Autominuten entfernt) ist definitiv ein Besuch wert! Wir kommen gerne wieder!
