Casa Maria is a wonderful, semi detached, split level villa situated in the Villa A Sesta hamlet. Positioned in the heart of the Chianti, Casa Maria is perfect for two couples or a small family. The town of Castelnuovo Barardenga is only 7km away.

At the front of the villa is a spacious paved terrace. It is furnished with a wooden table, four folding chairs, a large parasol and a barbecue. The terrace is surrounded by a gated fence and tall plants which offer some privacy. Attached to the side of the villa on the ground floor level is a furnished loggia which faces out towards a well maintained fenced garden.

Entry to the villa is via the lowest level and from the garden directly into an open plan lounge, kitchen and diner. The lounge area is furnished with a sofa that faces a flat screen television. Close by is a wooden dining table with four chairs. To the left is a bathroom with shower. In the kitchen you will find a working pizza oven.

The spacious kitchen is equipped with an oven, gas hobs, microwave, dishwasher and a fridge with separate freezer compartment. There is plenty of cupboard and workspace available. The kitchen is divided from the rest of the room by a breakfast bar with three stools. At the opposite side of the room is a staircase leading up to the ground floor.

At the top of the stairs on the ground floor is a bright and airy lounge. This room offers plenty of space and is furnished with two sofas centered around a television. Other furnishings include three wooden cabinets and a dining table with four chairs. French doors open out onto the loggia and garden. A second set of French doors open out onto a small Juliet balcony which overlooks the front terrace. There is also access to a bathroom with shower from the lounge.

At the top of the stairs on the first floor and directly ahead is the double bedroom. This bright airy room is furnished with a wrought iron double bed, two matching double wardrobes and a chest of drawers. French doors open onto a large balcony which looks across the hamlet towards the vineyards and hills beyond.

To the right of the stairs is a bathroom with shower. Next to this is the twin bedroom. It comprises of two single iron beds, a double wardrobe and a chest of drawers. French doors open out onto the large balcony which is shared with the double bedroom.

Villa Nova Ressort is a newly built stone hamlet composed of 6 villas. There is a plenty of local character within the hamlet which has many of the typical Tuscan aspects of stone and wood. Authentic building materials have been used to give the hamlet a typical Tuscan touch.

To one side is a lovely pool, completely fenced. The gardens of the property are well maintained with local plants.

Each villa has its own well maintained garden and outdoor eating area. From the front of the property there are pretty views over the neighboring olive grove and the vineyards that surround the property.

The large pool is located to one side of the hamlet, it is completely surrounded by a fence with a gate providing access to the pool area. Around the pool is a wide graveled area which is dotted with sunbeds and umbrellas. Beyond this is some sloped land planted with local shrubs.

There are some views from the pool area. They look over the hamlet buildings to one side, while the other is over an olive grove and vineyard.
There are metal steps to enter the 12x4 meter pool. It is 1.2 to 2 meters deep and open from mid-May to mid-October, weather permitting

Great Property

Wonderful property right in the heart of Chianti . Wonderful restaurants near by. We stayed a month so we needed groceries and there is a village only 10 minutes away.. Sienna only 20 minutes away. All major hill towns within easy driving distance through some beautiful country side. Villa is fully equipped with everything you need. Fabio the owner is a pleasure to deal with.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt im Chianti Classico

Das Haus befindet sich in wunderbarer Lage direkt an Weinbergen und Olivenhainen und ist Teil eines kleinen Weilers. Die Objektbeschreibung trifft ohne Einschränkungen zu und der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war sehr gut und freundschaftlich. Villa A Sesta mit sehr guten Restaurants ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Lage ist hervorragend geeignet für Tagesausflüge nach Florenz, San Gimignano, Siena, Arezzo, Assisi und natürlich in die Weinorte im Chianti sowie Montepulciano und Montalcino.

Ruhige Oase inmitten herrlicher Weinberge

Das Wohnhaus ist ruhig gelegen inmitten herrlicher Weinberge. Es ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für schöne Wanderungen oder Radtouren in den Bergen und Hügeln des südlichen Chianti. Es verfügt über eine vollständige Ausstattung (inkl. Pizza-Holzofen!) und ist geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Wir fühlten uns rundum wohl, und werden bestimmt wieder kommen!
