Was very impressed by the hard working, friendly and helpful staff (especially Soumia at breakfast). There were lovely fresh juices at breakfast and rooms were nice. Also liked the central location.
However, the hotel was no where near 5 star as promised; would say 3.5 star. It was very run down in many areas (guest toilets, stairwell, corridors), it looked poorly maintained, like a faded beauty.
The breakfast was very disappointed because it had limited choices, especially healthy options, and the buffet area was always covered in flies. The staff offered to make us food from day 3 out of 7 (e.g. omelettes, chopped up fruit), and that helped and the breakfast became more bearable.
The swimming pool was awful - the tiles were black and broken, and we were unable to swim in it, which should have been one of the highlights of our vacation. Was so disappointed. The indoor pool did not exist - instead there was an indoor pool in the spa downstairs, which you had to pay for.
