BEWARE! This is the worst hotel I’ve ever visited. Where do I even start! We arrived and the reception ignored us. We were told to SIT like a dog! We watched 2 other guests taken to their rooms with assistance with their bags. Then our turn. We had booked a suite. They seemed confused of who we were. Then we were handed our room cards and dismissed. No one showed us the lifts, no one helped with our bags, nothing. We worked it out on our own. The room was large but unwelcoming. We went down to the bar for a drink. Staff were pleasant but they had none of the ingredients for the cocktails on offer. Bizarre. We asked concierge to get us a taxi. What a joke standing on the corner for 30 minutes until he just wandered away and left us to walk away. We came back after finding dinner to have a shower and there was no hot water. This is 4 hours after checking in. We contacted reception and they said they’d send someone. An hour later still waiting. Called again and they said they could turn it on from downstairs and to wait 15 minutes for it to come through. Half an hour later it was still lukewarm. At this point I’d had enough and was very stressed from a long day travelling and such poor facilities and service and not being able to have a basic hot shower. We checked out and went to another hotel who were more than happy to welcome us. Don’t ever stay here, it’s a disgrace.
