Lovely villa in Carvoeiro, sea views, beach in walking distance, very quiet

Very nice, well maintained villa in the best location of Carvoeiro. Carvoeiro is one of the most popular holiday resorts in the Algarve since it has retained its charm. It offers everything you could wish for (www.mycarvoeiro.com). The beautiful beach "Praia Centianes" with beach bar is only a good 10 minutes walk away. The house is located near the center of Carvoeiro in the very pretty, traditional villa district "Vale de Milho", which also contains the 9-hole short golf course of the same name. Thanks to its elevated position on a cul-de-sac, the house enjoys a quiet location despite the central location. With its ideal south-west orientation, it offers all-day sunshine for a perfect Algarve vacation.

It has a large, totally private pool area with a generous terrace with sea view. Next to the large pool is the pool bar with gas grill and its own dining area. Slightly elevated is the sunny terrace table with a large awning and a beautiful view. There is also a protected inner patio with a charcoal grill and the roof terrace with a fantastic view of the sea for perfect sunset moments.

The sunny, south-west facing bedrooms all have direct, level access through large glass sliding doors to the terrace area.

The house has extensive facilities with new aircon in living and bedrooms, free internet wifi, satellite TV and hi-fi system with Bluetooth. The beautiful kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, gas stove, Nespresso machine and fridge-freezer combination. High chair, children's tableware and cutlery is available. The washing machine is right outside the kitchen in the household area.

During their stay guests are assisted by the German house management, who will be able to help with questions and problems competently. The team of house maid, pool man and gardener ensures cleanliness and a perfect condition of the property. The villa has a state licensing as an accommodation, the Alojamento Local (AL).

The nearby, beautiful Centianes beach, with beach bar and restaurant (all year) is located in a sheltered bay and is within a few minutes walk. This beach is supervised during the season and also offers beach chairs and umbrellas. Toilets and showers are also available. Tennis is available for a fee at the nearby Roche-Brava resort or the Carvoeiro club. There are many well-known golf courses (including 2x Pestana), the 9-hole golf "Vale de Milho", 350m away, open for non-handicapped guests, perfect for beginners or children. Golf equipment can be rented here very cheaply.

Lovely villa with large pool

This is a great villa in a lovely location. The bedrooms are roomy, all with king-size or super king-size beds. The air con is very welcome in the heat and worked well. The kitchen is well-equipped. The only thing that could have helped would have been a more user-friendly corkscrew. The cleaner, who was lovely, came in a couple of times a week to change the beds and do a general clean. The pool guy (also lovely) came in twice a week too. The two bathrooms are a great size, each with two basins and a large walk-in shower area. The pool is large and was great for swimming and splashing around in. The cushions for the outside dining table and the sun loungers were a bit tired and could do with being updated. There were only three of us so we doubled them up and had two on each lounger. WiFi was good and our son had no complaints!The villa is well located for the beach bar/restaurant O Stop (one of our favourites) - about 15 minutes away on foot. It’s a bit of a trek back up the hill but we managed it no problem in the evenings when the heat had subsided. We didn’t hire a car (first time not to do so on a villa holiday), and we didn’t miss it at all. Ubers are cheap and plentiful and typically arrive in about 5 minutes. We could easily get into Carvoeiro town in an Uber, have a lovely meal with a drink and not worry about having to drive back. There are plenty of nice restaurants in the town and also the local village. We’d definitely book again for this villa.

Beautiful Villa

Stunningly beautiful villa. Well equipped, stylishly furnished and in a great location - within walking distance of good restaurants, the beach and a lovely 9 hole golf course. The experience with Vrbo was more challenging as my account was not set up correctly, the trip not registered within the account and host emails not received / accessible. Luckily, the host is very helpful and resent all missing information.

Amazing villa

What a fabulous villa. Had everything we wanted and more. Really quiet location but still close to everything, lovely pool and stacks of room. Will be booking again. Worthwhile considering having the pool heated if you are visiting out of peak summer season. We did and it was a lovely temperature.

A nice stay in spite of the weather

We enjoyed our stay in spite of all the rain and wind. Unfortunately, our golf clubs never got out of the bags. There were a couple of issues over our 5 weeks but the housekeeper and property manager were outstanding in resolving them quickly. The location made it easy to explore the Algarve coast. Our thanks for a lovely holiday.

Lovely & relaxing vacation

We were very happy with the location. We had a few minor issues which were handled very quickly and professionally. The house is lovely (really more space than we needed) and very walkable to nearest beach. Host left several recommendations, which we appreciated & heeded. We will definitely return. We enjoyed the pool! If we had any constructive criticisms it would be to have small soaps & possibly small complimentary shampoos. Also, towels could use refreshing and instructions for washer in English would be a huge help.

A space of tranquility

This villa was of good proportions with excellent and comfortable outside space. A short walk from the beach but the hiĺl is not recommended in 30c+ temperatures ! Good restaurants in the locality and in town. Personally, I think a car is required but others may have different views. Plenty of opportunity for good walks. This is probably the best villa we have stayed in on many Algarve visits. We would highly recommend and look forward to returning one day.

A wonderful villa

The property is in an excellent location away from the noise of town but easy walking distance to beach and restaurants The villa was very clean and weekly visits by pool maintenance and a maid made this vacation experience special. Towels and sheets were changed and floors were cleaned on a weekly basis A real treat. I would highly recommend if you are planning to visit Carvoeiro.

Beautiful Villa in a wonderful location!

A lovely 2 week holiday in Katja's beautiful Villa in the Vale Do Milho area of Carvoeiro! The area is nice and quite but is only a 10min walk to lovely beach at Praia do Vale de Centeanes and a couple of other restaurants/bars nearby and is maybe a 30-40min walk into the main town of Carvoeiro itself (you can easily get a taxi there and back which is maybe just over €6). The owner Katja was always immediately responsive to any questions we had and even accommodated our request to leave late on the day of our departure due to a time change on our flights. Would recommend a stay here and we will definitely be looking to book again at some point ourselves in the future :-)

Wonderful Villa!!!!

We had such a wonderful holiday! The villa was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teenagers), clean, well looked after and had everything we needed. The rooftop seating area was incredible in the evening once the temperature had cooled and we enjoyed some sunset drinks up there. The sea view from the villa was a treat to wake up to every morning. The maid was lovely and very sweet and friendly and cleaned the villa beautifully and the pool was well maintained and crystal clear. The location is great and there are a couple of restaurants in walking distance (if you don't mind the hills), a short drive into Carvoeiro, and a beach a short 5/10 min walk away which has a lovely beach bar. Communication with Katja was great and the house manager visited us and was lovely and super helpful. We have been coming to Carvoeiro for the past 15 years as we love it and this villa is one of the best we have stayed in. Would highly recommend and will definitely book again next time we come over. Thanks for making our family holiday a truly wonderful one.

Fabulous property, very spacious and beautifully decorated and thought out, everything you require for a superb holiday. Only problem we had was no water twice at vey inconvenient times of day which then meant no hot water once switched on which wasnt good when you are getting ready on the morning of a wedding with the groom.

Best villa ever!

From the moment we walked in we knew we made the right choice. Beautifully decorated with Portuguese charm, clean, spacious and with a pool area and rooftop deck that we thoroughly enjoyed for our breakfasts and happy hour. From handyman (a drain was clogged and fixed immediately!), to maid and pool cleaner the place was impeccably maintained. Property manager was wonderful and instructions for sights and restaurants were spot on. We hope to come again and again and again! Absolutely loved this place and Carvoeiro.

Wonderful home in the Algarve

We had an excellent three week stay here in November and December of 2022. The host was extremely clear in their communication with us and this home met our needs as we were on a "working" holiday. They were flexible with us when our airline went on strike and it looked like we would need to stay longer than expected. The way things worked out we did not end up needing the extra days but appreciate that they were willing to work with us to extend the stay if needed.

This is a beautiful villa in a lovely neighbourhood. It is tastefully decorated and well furnished. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped with more than enough crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. Easy driving distance to Carvoeiro, beaches and golf courses. The management company were very attentive and speedily reacted to any queries. We would definitely stay again.

Fantastic villa!

We had 10 days at this absolutely lovely villa in May 2022! A long awaited holiday after the delays of the past few years! Villa was very easy to find (especially if you look on Google maps before coming). Villa was perfect for our party of 4 adults and we spent a lot of time just relaxing by the pool! There is a large supermarket 7 minutes away by car and a smaller one a short walk so very easy to stock up in the wines & BBQ food! The nearest beautiful beach was a 15 minute walk (but it’s uphill coming back so not for the infirm). Villa was spotless and the cleaner came in regularly to change towels & bedlinen! The men played a quick 9 hole round of golf on Vale de milho and said it was ok! Lots to do and restaurants nearby. Thank you for allowing us to use your beautiful villa! We hope to return one day Lynn, Graham, Jayne & Pete

Very very nice place to stay

The house was very nice: the pool, terrace, outside space was great. Inside also very nice. We had a little bit rain so we needed the room for dinner and play games one night. Upstairs there was a balcony you could sit and see nice sunsets. Everything very clean, and kept clean during our stay. The kitchen, with everything you need and more. We where with 4 adults and had much room to have privacy. Me and my husband and our daughter wit a friend. We would recommend this house for sure! Also we did have towels for shower, but also for the beach and large beach blankets. Never had such a good address!

Spotless lovely villa with great views

Lovely villa. Spotlessly clean both inside and out. Pool was kept immaculate also. Super comfy sun beds and fantastic roof terrace overlooking the sea. Both owner and management very helpful and efficient. Villa just slightly too far from town to walk in, so would recommend a taxi both ways! Our only 2 disappointments were the lack of English TV, and the constant noise of building construction nearby.
