While the owner was extremely nice and helpful, this home is in a run down neighborhood that is not the easiest to find. If you’re familiar with Columbia, staying here might be ok, but as a first time traveler into the country, it was EXTREMELY suspicious. They list the property in Castillogrande, but it is located in La Boquilla. There’s a big difference between the two locations. I would stay here again, only because the people who cooked for us were awesome people, but if we hadn’t paid so much for the week we were there, we would have definitely stayed elsewhere because it was purposely listed in another area for this reason. Look up La Boquilla before you decide on renting here first. If you’re coming with a large group, you’ll be fine, but if you’re coming alone or with one or two friends, you might want to rethink the location.
