I was traveling for a tournament so we were exhausted and came in late. The hotel checkin was fantastic. The sweetest lady you've ever met. One the way to the rooms we smelled weed. Inside the room, it was humid and smelled musty. I showered hoping I can just sleep it off and the soap was disintegrating int he packet. The water would not drain. I noticed how dirty the bathroom was. I checked the photos that I booked and it looks nothing like where I was sitting. It was then I decided to leave and go to another hotel. Because I did not follow their protocol on addressing the issues, even though Expedia called on my behalf, I am being refused a refund. Please read most recent reviews. Do not stay here unless you absolutely must. I absolutely knew this was not a safe, clean environment for my son and I to be in for the next two nights. This hotel is individually owned so there is no way to receive a refund unless the manager approves. The hotel owner lives in the hotel and there is no way to get ahold of him for issues. We are currently in talks with Choice Hotels who have reached out to this manager multiple times without a response. The manager claims she has not heard anything and I'm lying. This is an absolute mess and should not be 8/10 on Expedia. All Expedia offered was $30 for me to book another hotel. They did not help me or assist in any way.
