We feel they lied about the elevator needed a repair. No one worked on the elevator for the 4 days we were there. The only option they gave us to compensate was to downgrade our room (for the same rate). Not good customer service but we enjoyed the location of the property.

Wireless Gets a Zero

We have stayed here for years and understood the ongoing construction and are excited for the renovations. However, wireless at a minimum was terrible and I had to work but could not due to no wireless. It did not ruin the trip but certainly put me in a position on my job. Wireless is essential to work remote and it failed consistently.

Well, I chose to get this rental because it showed that it had his own personal Pier. I get there and there is no pier. It looks like it was torn down. Not just that, but you would think for the price that you pay you would have at least continental breakfast. The washer and dryer was down nine times out of the 10 times that we tried to use it. They did finally fix it towards the end of our visit and they paid for one dry for us to use it. Also, someone was knocking on our door the whole time we were there and then taking off running down the hall. We were pretty sure it was kids and we let the staff know. From the hotel we were at there was so much construction in between the two buildings that I had to walk to the other building just to get to the beach access. Pretty inconvenient.

I was on spring break from college and took the week off from work. I wanted to go somewhere different. Had never been to Carolina Beach before. My stay was absolutely perfect. The room was gorgeous and all of the staff at the front desk was very professional. I will definitely stay there again.

This property is undergoing renovations and there was some construction noise, but other than that it was great. The staff is accommodating and extremely friendly! The room was clean on arrival and was stocked with what we needed. This is a perfect place to stay with 3-4 people for a short period of time. It is within walking distance to several restaurants and only a couple of mintues drive to the boardwalk. I would definitely stay here again!

The staff were all very friendly. The lobby smelled like orange blossoms which was so nice and really added to the ambience. They were doing some construction at the property to build a new pool facility but it didn't negatively affect our stay.

The tiki bar wasnt open. They had a lot of renovation work going on. And the elevator didn’t work properly the morning we were leaving. But the hotel was beautiful, our room was great, and the location and access to the beach were perfect

Awesome place but outside areas need updating

Lovely place, beautiful views, super friendly staff. It’s close to lots to see, eat and shop. The restaurant and tiki bar are awesome. Inside rooms are updated, fresh and clean. The building we were in, the outside was one, dirty and run down, wooden steps deteriorating and peeling paint. Weeds were growing through landscaping and there were cigarette butts around. The elevator was down so we had to carry everything to 3rd floor. If they would renovate the outside like they did the inside it would be great.
