Rooms were pretty clean could have used some basic repairs done to the bathrooms and a deep clean and some basic repairs (our tub was very discolored and walls could have used a refresh of paint). Breakfast was good until the last morning we saw a dead cockroach on the floor in the dining area. Good location on the other side of town headed towards Guadalupe and caverns. Girl who checked us in had some good recommendations of local restaurants and areas to check out. Safe place to park car full of most of my belongings.

This was a one night stay. The breakfast was decent. The only ice machine is located on the 1st floor. Our room had a gross stain on the carpet. The bathroom mirror was literally falling apart. Alot of the walls had patches on them. We visited Carlsbad Caverns and the staff did allow us to extend our checkout @ no extra charge, which was very nice of them. The desk clerk was on her phone in the lobby when we came in and she was cussing to someone about something. She really wasn's all that pleasant.

Clean, friendly and comfortable

The hotel was great for my one-night stay. It was clean and comfortable and the staff was really nice. There was a problem totally out of their control and they worked hard to make it right, even though it wasn’t their fault. Highly recommend.

Property shows its age, multiple pieces of furniture showing some damage in the room. Staff was very nice and helpful when discussing the carlsbad caverns. The free breakfast was appreciated but mediocre. If you are planning on it, just be prepared for that.
