Location for the medieval cité is excellent (about a 7-10 mins walk). Communication from the apartment management was also excellent which meant our checking in and out was easy. The apartment is a bit tired, however the kitchen and bathroom were both clean. Other surfaces and inside the drawers in ours were dirty but we'd taken some cleaning products with us so it wasn't a big deal. Overall would still recommend and would stay here again.

Pros - Free parking - Free water (a whole 330ml - wow!!) Cons - Whole place is old and tired - Bed is a queen. (Not king as advertised but comfortable) - No grab bar by toilet (as advertised) - No portable bath seat (as advertised) - No raised toilet seat (as advertised) - Shower is not wheelchair accessible (as advertised) - Rooms are not wheelchair friendly (as advertised) - Toilet door is not wheelchair width (as advertised) - No ironing board or iron (as advertised) - Rusty outdoor table and chairs in an unloved gravel area We arrived at 14:30 to a locked gate. Pressing the bell got no response but fortunately we had a local phone and after several attempts managed to contact someone who gave us instructions as to how to get in and which room was ours. First impressions - is this the place we actually booked on hotels.com??? Second impressions. It can’t be just 9 years old?? Then we found our room. OMG!!! Dark and dingy with only a passing resemblance to the photos. I simply can’t believe the website comments are actually genuine as there is absolutely no pride taken in the presentation of this third rate excuse for a hotel. Hotels.com. Lift your game or we will leave in droves.

Perfect spot, 5 minutes walk from the old city of Carcassonne. The email from the AppartHotel was really informative and helpful, recommendations were great, we used them all! The apartment was lovely, clean, comfortable and modern.

Great location for walking access to Carcassonne Castle. Although the immediate environs around the hotel are not inspiring, the proximity to the historical centre is a winner. The facilities are very good and certainly great value for money. The manager is very responsive and helpful. There is onsite parking.

We were very pleased with the hotel's location and the fact that that the car was just outside the room and very secure. The gentleman who checked us in was very helpful in providing information about restaurants, etc. However, the room could use a good cleaning and additions to kitchen ware is needed as there was only 1 wine glass and no bowls.

Excellent situation near to Carcassonne cite - just a short walk. Very comfortable and well stocked apartment with an allocated secure parking space. Superb service arrangements from the very friendly and welcoming host who provided us with clear instructions to gain access to the property via text, since we were badly held up en route.

Great location, 3*, comfortable, recommended.

Excellent location a ten min walk to La Cité. Private car parking. Coffee maker in room. Toiletries (shower gel/shampoo). Very comfortable bed. A/C. Kitchen area but with hob and microwave. I´m not sure about pans as we did not use them - probably yes - cutlery and plates. Lovely little semi private terrace outside each room for a coffee or picnic. Although near main roads it was quiet at night and felt secure and homely. Good attentive service and reasonable price. I would stay again.

Brilliant Location

Perfect location for visiting the old town. Had to wait 15mins for the owner to open the gates as he was not on site but other than that everything went smoothly. Only a five minute walk to the old town and hotel had free parking. Would definitely stop again.
