When we arrived at the hotel, my kids were eager to go into the swimming pool because it was still very warm outside near the end of the summer. However, the pool itself was so dirty that the kids chose not to swim. Then we found sugar ants in our room and told the front desk. They said they could not move us because they were booked, but would have someone come up and “look at it“. However, the next day we had ants again. When I mentioned it to the front desk clerk, she asked me if someone came and looked at it, and I told her I did not know because we had been out for the day but clearly nothing had changed because we still had ants. This hotel is very close to the airport if you are flying and the breakfast was well done.

I was able to walk to a beach and watch a rocket launch. That was awesome. I think overall it's a great place. One downer is last week i asked about laundry facilities. Was told they had working units on site. I arrive to discover out of order signs. Very disappointed.

The property was a nice however I thought there was a bar and sadly there wasn’t. The only dinning (walkable) was the resort adjacent. They did have good food though. Overall it was a great stop before our cruise.
