A Room with a View

A very good experience. Warm and friendly welcome. Comfortable room with good facilities.Very good breakfast with lots of choice. Great view and the ability to sit outside and look at the view whilst having breakfast as well as the ability to sit inside to eat breakfast. I would love to stay there again.

Stars......no stars!!

This hotel needs to be named No Stars. Although the room we were given had an AC unit, it didn't work, nor did the huge fan they gave us, we asked for another which we were provided with, meaning that the tiny room had wires and fans everywhere, blowing warm air around. There were no fly nets on the windows so these couldn't be opened either. The receptionist on arrival was grumpy, preoccupied and we felt more of an inconvenience than a guest. If you wish to re-experience university lifestyle in cramped small rooms stay here! I won't be ever again.

horrible stay, was good only for the price. the bed was broken, I had to remove the frame a side and then sleep on the mattress on the floor.

To expensive at any cost- sleep in your car!

I am not a negative person and I try to say something nice about everyone and everything. Here goes- it did not rain in our room. That is the end of the good comments. The shower was tiny, the room was barely big enough for the bed. The air conditioning did not work. You had to open the window to get some cool air and the mosquitos were out in packs (no screens). The internet works if you are standing next to the front desk. If you move over to the chairs (both of them) in the lobby, you have no internet connection. The desk clerk could not find our reservation and when I showed him my copy, he had to call someone else to tell him what to do with it!

Mold infested hotel room

Terrible stay. Arrived late at night but thought that would not be a problem since they had 24h service. once at the hotel we spent 15 minutes banging the door, ringing the bell and calling the reception before somebody finally opened. The prepaid reservation could not be found by the receptionist, but he was a nice man and gave us a room anyway. The room was awful.. It smelled strongly of mold, and everything in the room was humid and smelled mold due to bad or no circulation. The bathroom was rusty and filled with dark mold spots. The sheets looked clean and the bathroom also appeared to be clean, but we had a terrible night with little sleep at all due to the strong mold odor. Would not recommend room 11 at least :)

an overall good stay in antibes

the staff was very friendly. roms got cleaned veryday. breakfast was a good value. it is an older property, but for the price it is okay. location is closed to the city center and port vauban if you have a car which we did.

Surprisingly Nice

For the price, it's a surprisingly pleasant hotel! The rooms are basic, but clean and functional; check-in time is flexible; the Receptionist was most helpful.. and it's situated in a quiet neighbourhood. It's also less than 5-minutes from the Motorway junction (hence, perfect for an overnight stay if travelling).

You get what you pay for!!!

To be honest I chose the cheapest hotel as we were arriving late and leaving early. We also had a car so to some extent the location was not an issue. However, knowing Antibes very well, the location is very far from the town and quite difficult to find without a GPS. It is directly behind the large Carrefour supermarket in the hills behind the town. I read the reviews on Hotel.com and found them to be accurate in their description. The girl at the desk was helpful and friendly. The carpets in the hotel were stained and worn and the room could do with a makeover......however, you get what you pay for! It was cheap, reasonably clean, had free carparking and was near a great supermarket! That suited our needs.

The rooms were very small and dark. However the staff were so nice they allowed us to use the fridge and freezer for a lot of our things. They were lovely. Nice Barbeque area overlooking the area. The Beach is about 10 min drive the supermarket and shops are a 3 minute walk.

Price and location is what saves a hotel in need.

Ultimately, the price and location made this hotel an OK value during the time I was there -- during the Cannes Film Festival, however, this hotel is in serious need of a makeover. The place is certainly clean bit very old and "used". Carpets, bathrooms, power plugs, overall decor, even the comforters all need a very serious update. Only one power plug available in a hotel room in 2013 is just ridiculous. The daytime staff was courteous enough. No complaint there. The nigh time staff was borderline rude. Clearly did not want to be there. Breakfast was on the OK side. My biggest complaint overall has to do with the wireless internet. It works well in the main dining room, but not at all in my room. Considering I had specifically requested a room with good signal, and that they assured me it worked well, this was particularly annoying. Again, price paid was ultimately OK because of time period, but would be way too much otherwise.

Great staff, great location hotel needs updating

The location is great for exploring the area and handy for stores and motorway. The manageress who speaks English and Italian cannot do enough for you. She is extremely helpful and willing to help. This in some way makes up for the poor hotel. Rooms are small and need updating. The bed was uncomfortable. If they spent some money on the place it could be very good. This is a budget hotel and we enjoyed our holiday but unless you are short of money I would stay at better accomidation but you may not get such good staff.

We were two students driving around France in a rental car. It was too expensive to stay in Nice, so we opted to stay here instead and drive in to Nice. You definitely need a car if you're staying here, as you can't really walk to anything and must drive into Antibes as well. Besides the cookies under our bed when we arrived (seriously lol), the room was clean and the hotel was fine. It's also really near a huge Carrefour so that's great for cheaper gas and food.

Not very nice!

This place is miles from anywhere. Most of the staff don't speak English which made it very hard to find out how to get into town. I stayed for 4 nights, and should have left after 1. A good place to go if you don't like life though. The room was smelly and dirty, and a woman came into my room at 10 o clock every day to clean. However, this was bad as I was asleep with jetlag! Not very nice at all.
