La Grange du Bousquet Bas is located in the heart of the Causses du Quercy Regional Natural Park, a stone's throw from the village of Caniac du Causse. It is a very popular holiday place for people who want peace and serenity to find themselves as well as to immerse themselves in nature which enters through the many windows of the Barn. The cottage has been online since early 2016. It is very well equipped, with a fireplace, a large picture window for the observation of the surrounding flora and fauna. The furniture is of good quality, some even "classic" in the spirit of modern furniture. The barn is large and everyone will have the space they need to be independent or not be independent, according to their desire. About 20 hectares of land surrounds the barn, on the farm where there are two other dwellings at a respectful distance.

Wonderful get away!

Great base for exploring the area. A dark sky area so perfect for looking at the stars in the evening. We generally explored during the day and cooked our meals in the evening.

Peace and tranquility

Accommodation was exactly as listed. High quality furnishings with an abundance of original features. The location was well placed to visit many of the interesting medieval towns easily and without having to use the busier roads. Our hosts were extremely friendly but also respected their guests privacy. Everything met our expectations and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we wish we could have stayed longer.

A Wonderful Experience

Although other reviews indicated that this is a very special place, our experience exceeded our high expectations. The house is comfortable, and the location couldn't be better if you're looking for beautiful, peaceful countryside. You can walk for miles in any direction down tiny lanes emanating from the house, and the only sound you hear is birdsongs and the occasional cow bell. The hosts are welcoming and charming. We'll be back!

A wonderful, cozy, rustic experience

We had an absolutely fabulous week-long stay at Ria and Patrick's charming renovated barn. The house is warm and well-equipped with a fireplace and sauna, and the surrounding landscape is really stunning. We went on many walks and hikes in the surrounding area, as well as venturing to Saint-Cirq Lapopie, Rocamadour, Figeac, and many more. Ria and Patrick are incredibly hospitable and friendly hosts, and provided us with great guidance on the area and tips for things to do. We couldn't have asked for a better stay!

Wonderful place

Had a marvellous week of peace and quiet, the house is in a great place, high up on a ridge, superb sense of space and it gives you an idea of the huge scale of the Causses. The house is very well presented, well equipped & very comfortable & the owner is very welcoming & helpful. Even in rainy or bad weather so much to see. We cycled , great roads, but walking is also good from here.

Endroit trĆØs agrĆ©able, calme, reposants. L'endroit est bien comme dĆ©crite dans l'annonce. Nous avons passĆ©s un excellent sĆ©jour. Ria et son Ć©poux sont trĆØs gentil et prĆ©sents si besoin. Les voisins sont pas juste a cĆ“tĆ© et nous en avons eu des trĆØs sympathiques, ce qui embellie le sĆ©jour ! La piscine parfaite tempĆ©ratures et dĆ©compression total. A prĆ©voir un retour pour tester le SPA ! Belles regions ,nous avons mĆŖme pu rencontrer plein d'animaux et surtout les chevreuils jusques dans le jardin. Merci beaucoup šŸ˜ƒ. Perfekte Ruheoase mit Komfort mitten in der Natur

Ria und Patrick waren sehr aufmerksame Gastgeber, die uns herzlich willkommen hieƟen und zur BegrĆ¼ĆŸung sogar ein Genusspaket inklusive Rotwein und KƤse Ć¼bergaben. TatsƤchlich hat uns dies sehr gefreut, denn bei unserer Ankunft am Sonntag Nachmittag gab es keinerlei Einkaufs- und auch keine nahegelegene Einkehrmƶglichkeiten. Auch die nƤchste BƤckerei ist 15 Autominuten entfernt. Vorausschauendes Einkaufen wird empfohlen. DafĆ¼r ist die Lage der Unterkunft wunderbar ruhig und idyllisch. Die KĆ¼che bietet alles, was es zur Zubereitung von Speisen bedarf. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war stets freundlich und unkompliziert. Ria und Patrick waren zuvorkommend und bescherten uns einen sehr angenehmen und komfortablen Aufenthalt. Nicht eindeutig dem Inserat zu entnehmen ist, dass fĆ¼r die Sauna-Nutzung 40ā‚¬ extra berechnet werden. Die jedoch lohnen sich. Den Pool konnten wir freundlicherweise nutzen, obwohl Ria und Patrick einen Teil unseres Aufenthaltes selbst im Urlaub und damit nicht zu Hause waren. Gerne empfehlen wir diese Unterkunft auch fĆ¼r andere Urlauber weiter!
