Very special place, our best breakfast on trip

Great stay

We had a couple of nights stay while exploring the Picos Europa area, the hotel was ideally located for the western region & great for access by public transport to the lakes & Covadonga, the former not accessible by private car between April & November, hence public bus. The hotel is in walking distance of restaurants & shops & has been recently renovated to a high standard, clean comfortable, friendly & helpful staff & great & well presented breakfast. Great value for money..

The value for this hotel is just amazing and perfect! We loved it. I would only suggest to place a kettle in every room. However we asked for hot water and they provided us. Very grateful for this modern and cozy hotel option in such beautiful town.

Comfortable and economical

We booked to stay in Hotel Santa Cruz for one night and had a nice stay. It was as described with welcoming staff. The location is good, close to free parking and easy to walk to restaurants and bars in town. We booked an economy room, which was indeed basic, but it was a very reasonable price so I am fine with that. The shower was hot and had very good water pressure.

Nice place!

We enjoyed our stay in this very comfortable hotel. I loved the tile in the bathroom so much that I took a photo! The location was very convenient to the town and was right by the river. The only negatives were that they didn’t have parking and that I was only given one key for two occupants. We found parking nearby and just shared the key, so no big deal.

Good location, noisy room

The Good: The room was clean and spacious. It has a great location along the river, with a friendly staff, and the breakfast had a lot of options. The Bad: Sound proofing was not great and we didn't sleep well. Our room was on the 1st floor next to the stairs and elevator, so we could hear people coming and going all the time. The floors aren't carpeted, so the noise from people walking and talking in the hallways was also amplified. No parking is included, and while you can park on the street for free, it was difficult to find spots as they were nearly always taken (we visited early April).

Beliggenhed, rengøring og morgenmad i top

Et skønt hotel med en central placering. Dejligt værelse og ditto badeværelse - der er, hvad man har behov for. Rengøringen i top og servicen ligeledes hos alle medarbejdere, der er imødekommende og smilende. Morgenmaden er uovertruffen - kæmpe udvalg, friskpresset appelsinjuice m.m. Eneste minus er, at der er ekstrem lyt på værelserne, så man hører, når dører lukkes m.m. Men alt andet er i top, og morgenmaden slår seriøst flere 4 stjernede hoteller, vi har boet på.
