I'm not sure the last time they updated this hotel was, but my honest guess is 15 years. It is soo rundown. The cupboards in my room were falling down, the gross shower wasn't completely clean. Everyday when I walked out there were workers that had the manhole covers open and were working on the sewage. I was there mainly to go the dentist. I couldn't imagine staying here for a vacation

If you’re looking for a fancy resort it is not this one. The facility is very old and sorely needs updating in places. The room was clean and housekeeping was minimal but it was good enough. The staff were hard working and provided excellent service. The dining options were somewhat limited. Similar dinners each night and there were very few desserts. Staff was super friendly, room was clean although could use some updates. We booked fully knowing that food options weren’t the greatest and that was the case. But we were ok with that. This isn’t a 5 star place, and they’re not claiming to be. With that in mind, if you’re looking to get to cancun on a budget, this is your place!

This was by far the worst hotel experience we’ve ever had. The rooms were filthy, with bloodstained blankets, and the food caused severe food poisoning that sent our entire family to the hospital, costing us $1,800. We were forced to switch hotels after just two nights, paying double, and the hotel refused to refund us for the terrible stay. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this place—if I could give it zero stars, I would.

Likes: near bus, walking distance to mall, quiet area, a 30 minute ride from Airport and the staff was nice and the staff at bar and resturant was very attentive. Dislikes: 1 digital key given for 2 people to share. The food was cold breakfast and dinner for 5 out of the 6 days I stayed here. Even when it was brought out from the kitchen it was still cold. The bathroom had an bad smell when we checked in, they had to spray the drain which smell came back 2 days later. Rooms have no seal or sound proofing, so you hear everything happening in the hallway The remote control did not work well i believe they put a lock on the tv or controller to keep people from changing programing Booking escursions through the hotel was more expensive because they didnt select to pay in mexico currency, so an additional charge of $13 was added per excursion. None of the drinks were made accurately and did not taste right. When you book all inclusive, they dont tell you that they do not serve coke or sprite. They only have diet for all inclusive. If you dont want diet you have to pay for it.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Imperial Las Perlas for five days and would like to share my experience. Location and Staff: The resort’s location is truly remarkable, offering picturesque views and a serene environment that provided a perfect escape. What truly stood out was the exceptional service from the staff. Their kindness and attentiveness enhanced my stay, making me feel welcomed and well-cared for throughout my visit. Dining Experience: While the resort advertised a diverse culinary schedule featuring different cuisines such as Caribbean and Italian, I found the dining options to be repetitive. Despite the themed nights, the menu offerings appeared quite similar each day, which was a bit disappointing. Room Amenities: The accommodations were comfortable and well-maintained; however, the shower facilities did not meet my expectations. The water pressure was inconsistent, and temperature control was challenging, which detracted from the overall comfort of my stay. Overall Impression: Despite some drawbacks with the dining variety and shower facilities, my overall experience at Imperial Las Perlas was positive, largely due to the beautiful location and outstanding staff. I would recommend this resort to travelers seeking a tranquil retreat, with the hope that improvements in the dining services and room amenities will be made in the future.
