The service was probably the worst I've ever experienced at any all inclusive. Besides the buffet, expect to wait at least 2 hours for a full dinner. It was frustrating at how long it took to get simple things like dessert.

I loved the amenities options were endless, and the hotel is very new and has all the latest features you expect, my only complaint is the quality of the food isn't as good but you get what you pay for $400-500/ night don't expect to eat Michelin star more like buffet food, expect tummy to hurt and be in the bathroom, but is something the hotel can fix within 1-2 days and bring in higher quality which proba my they will do and price will increase

I will start by saying this is a family resort. The resort is huge!!!!! You will be walking. I went as a single mom with a 4yr old and 12yr old. Why the staff at the resort decided to put me in the south building right on top of a nightclub I have no idea. Every night we heard music until 2am. The water slides and pool activities centered around kids were on the opposite side of the resort so I had to carry my poor 4yr because her little legs couldn’t handle the far distant. The restaurants that serviced the children were also on the other side of the resort. South building houses the adult only restaurants along with the nightclub. I’m still confused why they would assign a mom and two children a room on this side of the resort. On the last night of our stay we got locked out our room (my bracelet no longer worked) we had to wait for staff to let us in the room. The kids club was the best part of our stay. The kids loved it and loved the nice staff. $45 each for the escape room (including the 4yr old) $20-30 each for bowling and laser tag. Overall I would not stay here again because the experience just was not enough for me to return for such inconveniences

Food at some of the restaurants on the property came out bland, cold, sandwiches and burgers were dry. Limited dining in the afternoon, outdoor kitchens close at 4:30pm. Front desk staff were rude and extremely pushy. Will not be coming back here again.

Beautiful room, 4 beds was perfect, so much space, beautiful deck with wonderful hot tub. Food was great, great for teenagers. The only disappointment was the beach, specifically looked for an ocean side property and there really wasn't a beach. Very impressed overall.

Wonderful stay at Ava Resort

We had an amazing stay at Ava Resort Cancun with our family of four, traveling alongside other families—and it couldn’t have been more perfect for all ages! This brand-new resort is massive, modern, and beautifully designed with everything you could want for a stress-free vacation. The amenities were top-notch, from the pools and water activities to the relaxing lounges and family-friendly spaces. Our kids were fully entertained every day thanks to the fantastic kids’ and teen clubs, plus the daily obstacle course at the pool became a highlight of the trip! Food and drink were excellent across the board, with plenty of variety and great quality. Black Iron was a standout—easily our favorite dining experience of the trip. Pro tip: book it early! What truly made the trip special was the staff—warm, helpful, and always going the extra mile to make sure we felt welcome. Can’t wait to return!
