The rooms at this hotel are great ! Large and very clean and I’ve stayed here numerous times Unfortunately I was in room 112 which was right on top of the entrance to building where around 1000 residents drive in and out all day and night and the banging of cars on grates and garage doors

Staff were not able to tell me what restaurants there were when asked if there was a Chinese or Italian restaurant in the area. Air conditioning kept going on to standby even though the room was still cold At 12.00 midnight on night three there was a false fire alarm and evacuation that had us all standing in Canberra's cold night for an hour. There did not appear to be anyone representing the hotel on site overnight. It also did not seem that either the police or fire brigade attended. The next morning the reception staff did not know about the evacuation.
