Bed was comfy, but only have 2 pillows and random hair on it. Bathroom could be updated. Lost my lunch that was in the fridge because it wasn't even working.

Inaccurate description

Check-in was smooth. However, the room left much to be desired. It was what I would describe as a “basement apartment room”. It was below ground with a basement apartment style egress window. If someone was in the parking lot they could see you sleeping on the bed. The only way to avoid this was to pull the blinds closed, however, there were only blackout blinds so it would leave the poorly lit room in almost total darkness. The room was very small, had a musty smell, and the furniture was damaged. By 9:00pm a group of construction workers had congregated in the corner of the parking lot to drink beer together (outside of our basement window). The walls were very thin. Given that housekeeping began at 7:45am and the cleaning staff all had painfully loud radios for communication, there was a limited opportunity for peace and quiet. Check-out was successful and the continental breakfast was actually the best part. 10/10 on the waffle maker. Otherwise, I do not recommend this hotel. Not sure if the upper floor rooms are better than my basement level experience.

OK for a quick overnight

Convenient location, but property is showing wear and tear. Stair access to upper floors may be a concern for some. Older building means lots of noise transfer.

Staff were great. Breakfast was ok. Hotel could use a renovation. The bathroom in the room we had really needs a facelift. The ceiling had been attempted to be fixed and I don't know what it looked like before, but the fix was terrible. There was black all around the edges of the walls in the tub. It looked pretty awful. The bed was good. Nice to have a fridge (albeit very small) and a microwave in the room. We tried a couple of the restaurants the hotel staff suggested and they were closed. It was a Monday before 7 pm so not sure why they were closed. One had a sign with their hours which by that should have been open, but it wasn't. There is an IGA right across the street so we just got something and brought it back to the room.
