Our room was GREAT! The only negative regarding our stay was the desk agent was not very accommodating. Because we checked in hours after midnight we requested a late check out That request was not put in and the morning desk agent asked us to please leave the room. So i had to sit in the lobby over 2 hours waiting to be picked up and then was told because we didn't book thru the hotel we could not get a receipt for the stay! Our stay during the middle of the week and not around any holiday so I felt our treatment was very inconsiderate and rude

Giving a 4 star only because Room was clean but it had a smell to it other than that we had a wonderful stay loved the balcony. The breakfast was great we liked that every morning it was different choices.

The mattresses were horrible, hard and squeaky with any slight movement. The only thing more uncomfortable were the rock hard, unpadded chairs in the small breakfast area off the lobby. The rolling chair at the desk was so low, my knees were at a 90 degree angle and it was difficult to get up and sit down because you needed to puch yourself off the chair but it moved with you. All furniture in lobby/breakfast area was run down and in need of upgrade, carpets were stained and there was so much damage to doors and walls it gave a very depressed and overused vibe.

Location, room size and parking were good. Staff was extremely cooperative and polite. The only disappointing point was thevsmell in the room Carpet was smellung awful, air freshners didnt work. Staff tried other things and offered an alternative room too. But that wasn't suitable. Overall experience was ok

Breakfast and coffee bar was great! Loved the fire pit outside! Staff was great. However, the toilet was very low to the ground and grab bar would have been nice. The water is the shower did not get hot. Good overall though.

I don’t normally complain but we were disappointed in this hotel (Hampton Inn is usually one of our favorites). After checking in we noticed the thermostat on the wall wasn’t working and the air conditioner sounded like a plane was taking off, plus it would run about every minute or so and then would stop for about 20 minutes. I asked the front desk if we could switch rooms. She told me that since the room was paid for by a third party, she couldn’t just move us to a different room. She said she had one other room like ours but it was booked. There were 3 floors in the hotel so I find this hard to believe. I assume if you go thru hotels.com you get a subpar room and there are only a couple of those rooms available. I guess the 100% satisfaction promise doesn’t apply to people using a third-party vendor to reserve a room. Will keep this in mind in the future.
