The room smelled musty and the tub had mold/mildew in the corners and around the edge. It looked like they were in the process of updating the AC but our room AC was loud and hard to operate. Breakfast was underwhelming and the breakfast hours on the weekend were the same as during the week - 6 AM to 9 AM.

We were so pleased with our stay at Budget Host hotel, in Cameron, TX. Our room was clean, A/C remained cool the entire night and breakfast was good. Scrambled eggs, biscuits or other bread options, sausage links, waffles, cereal and fruit available. Coffee and juice were good too. Bed was comfortable and ample room to move around. Easy peasy check in and check out. Front desk staff were friendly and informative. I would highly recommend this hotel.
