The exterior of the building looks like it needs updating...either mildew stained or wood rot on balconies. The hallways creak when you walk on them. Aside from appearances, it was a nice stay overall.

I have stayed here many times and will return. However, this time the clerk who checked me in was not friendly and set the entire stay off on the wrong note. I also asked that my room be cleaned at 10:30 the next day and watched it be recorded. The room was never cleaned so asked for replacement towels.

The central location made it excellent for us to walk to stores and events in Rockland and the parking provided easy access to roads out of town. The balcony felt comfortably private. The A/C system was kind of noisy.

The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. It's location allowed us to walk to all the good restaurants and the Blues Festival that occurred during our visit.

Wonderful property. Location, room comfort, amenities, breakfast, & the staff were impressive for the price point. Parking was a little uneasy as we got the last spot. We had to be directed to our parking spot (next to the front sign), by the desk staff; however, I would definitely stay here again.

A beautiful view of the harbor from most rooms. Clean, modern facility. Nice breakfast buffet. Ample parking. Short walk to most of downtown and most waterfront restaurants. Good location for investigating Penobscot Bay and the Mid Coast region.

Don’t go by the pictures online.

The hotel is run down. The back windows need the windows tinted, too hot. The outside needs a coat of paint, landscaping need help and still have window a/c units. I was shocked by the pictures online and when I pulled up to the hotel. The people that worked at the hotel were friendly. The breakfast was also good.
