The overall feeling is that the hotel is shabby and rundown. We rejected our first room as one of the beds was sagging in the middle, but we were offered another, and thankfully this came with a better bathroom. Everywhere felt cold and we were unable to get any heat in our room, not acceptable in February. A ceiling light wasn't working, leaving half the room in darkness: we were told it couldn't be fixed until the next day, after we left. The pillows were mean and lumpy, the hairdryer was missing, and there was a notice telling us not to stand undressed at the window as it overlooked a primary school! Breakfast was poor and the service brought to mind Fawlty Towers/Mrs Overall. I wish I could find something positive to say, we were just glad it was only one night. Very disappointing.
