I'd suggest paying for a "rear" room the road at the front is busy /noisy Tip for owner - empty your vacuum cleaner bag or use vacuum cleaner bag smelly things, or put a room fragrance in the room because the room , whilst lovely and clean., smelt of feet

We stayed 2 nights at this property and it was excellent. The host couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating. It was spotless clean and very comfy. Tea, coffee, biscuits and bottled water were also provided and there was a complimentary continental breakfast. Also parking was free and on site. It was conveniently placed and within walking distance of Cambridge. The price was also much cheaper than similar properties. All in all a real gem.

Best guest house in Cambridge

Autumn House is the best Guest house in Cambridge. Al is an amazing host, the property is spotless, and the rooms are big and comfortable. I've been coming back a few times a month for 2 years, and it has always been amazing.

Had a nice weekend for shopping here , Autumn house is very close to the town ,we took the bus in and out of the centre , buses are spot on ..Autumn house is very clean,welcoming,has great facilities and Al the owner lives on site so is on hand for any of your needs . He is very friendly,knowledgeable, informative and professional at the same time, highly recommend

I've stayed at Autumn House twice now, and both times had an exceptional experience. Al is a wonderful host. The property is clean, comfortable, and in a great location. I plan to stay here again in the (hopefully not too distant) future.

Well maintained, clean and friendly

Clearly the owner cares for his home and the guests. Well maintained and was very professional and helpful with a lost property item left in a drawer. Location is a little far from the city to walk, especially with limited mobility. Accessible room is good for those with limited mobility but not large enough for those with more limitations.

Great place to stay in Cambridge

All excellent, with everything as it should be, a warm friendly welcome with plenty on information for the stay and for visiting Cambridge. Room was perfect with everything in place and very comfortable. The room was at the front so expect a little road noise with windows open, but nothing too much to concern most people. The city centre is a nice walk via the river or you can take the frequent bus .. all the information fit this is provided so makes life very easy. A great stay and well recommended.
