Nice location, very reasonable price but nothing

Never been in a hotel that was so empty. Only a few buisnessmen/tradespeople. Lovely view of the lake, & although I didn't pay the extra for room with lake view, I was given one- thanks. Breakfast buffet ok, very little choice for dinner so didnt bother. 5 min drive to Village & different eating options. I booked because I'm sure I saw it had a gym & pool but booking confirmation then clearly said both not in operation at that time. Looking through the window, it hasn't been used for a long time. Nice location, very reasonable price but nothing special.

Large hotel that desperately needs modernising, beautiful surroundings & lovely staff. The food was not great & the bed was the most uncomfortable I think I've ever slept in

Last minute stop over, and had to leave early, so didn’t spend much time at Lakeside, but it was great to have a lakeside view with a beer to relax. Haven’t been to Lakeside for quite a few years, so was nostalgic being back! Dated, but clean and perfectly fine.
