Stunning views and swish apartment!

Very lovely apartment with stunning views. The sofas are comfortable enough but a few cushions would have been hugely appreciated. There are plenty of dining chairs and an extendable dining table on the terrace. The terrace is enclosed with movable panes of glass but we didn't move them. One window at each end opens easily, so there was a good through draught. The kitchen is well equipped with an excellent range of glasses, crockery and cutlery but - very strangely! - only 1 breakfast/dessert bowl (so we bought 3 more). Unusually in my experience, there were no tea towels and no (clean/new) washing up/dish cloths or scouring pads. The beds were comfortable and bed linen and towels all very good, although extra pillows would have been appreciated. There are two shower rooms - the hand basin in the small shower room is so small it's hard to wash your hands without splashing the floor, but the shower was very good. There's no natural light or extractor - just a small hole high on the wall into the next door shower room. The larger shower room was lovely and has an excellent washer/dryer. There was plenty of hot water and good pressure in the showers, although we were careful only to use one at a time. There is only one toilet in the apartment, separate from both shower rooms. It's a steep walk down into the town, but well worth being up the hill for the views you get. There's a useful boulangerie and a boucherie within 200 metres (flat walking!); the large SuperU and the station and the town centre are all less than 10 minutes away on foot.

What a find!

First of all, the owner was very helpful with our various queries and answered all our questions before our arrival promptly. The person who let us in was kind and helpful and even gave us a brilliant restaurant recommendation. The flat was very clean and well appointed but the real star of the show has got to be the magnificent view from the terrace! We never tired of it as the colours over the mountains and the sea change over the course of the day. Our first stay in Corsica but definitely not the last!

Appartement très confort et très bien équipé, en centre-ville et proche du port. La vue est effectivement très belle. Je regrette que cela ne soit pas une vraie terrasse ouverte mais plutôt une Loggia. Place de parking en supp (dommage au regard du prix du logement hors saison) et place minuscule (en marche arrière). Mais globalement un joli appartement bien entretenu et au coeur de Calvi;

Passer un agréable séjour calvi est magnifique et le logement formidable. Nous avons eu un super accueil ainsi qu un petit mot du propriétaire qui desirait savoir si tout aller bien pour nous et si on ne manquait de rien. Ce qui était inconcevable tellement le logement etait tres bien équipé avec une propreté nikel une décoration moderne et avec goût. Appartement conforme à l'annonce et dans lequel nous nous sentons comme chez nous. La proximité du centre de Calvi est appréciable car il est possible de faire toutes les sorties à pied. Alles top bis auf die Betten

Wir - vier erwachsene Personen - haben den Aufenthalt in der FeWo sehr genossen, weil die Wohnung hell und geräumig ist, eine wunderbar große Terrasse mit Meerblick und eine große, praktikabel eingerichtete Küche hat, in der wir perfekt unsere Mahlzeiten zubereiten konnten. Eigentlich waren wir rundum zufrieden, bis auf die Betten. Ein Doppelbett war okay, die beiden anderen hatten so harte Matratzen, dass ich bereits am zweiten Tag Rücken- und Knieschmerzen bekam, die meinen Urlaub getrübt haben. Zu zweit kommen wir aber gerne wieder.

Sehr schöne, saubere und sehr gut ausgestattete Wohnung mit traumhafter Aussicht auf die Bucht von calvi! Gute Lage, unkomplizierte Kommunikation! Hatten eine tolle Woche! Klare Empfehlung!!!!!! Kleiner Hinweis: Garage sowie Bettwäsche und Handtücher (unkompliziert vor Ort) gegen Gebühr dazubuchbar, im Inserate ist ein Whirlpool angegeben, allerdings nicht vorhanden, wird aus unserer Sicht dank tollem Strand aber auch überhaupt nicht benötigt! Wir werden bei einer Reise nach calvi auf jeden Fall gerne wieder diese Wohnung buchen!
