Great hotel! There are such limited pet-friendly options in Calistoga, we were so happy to find the Motor Lodge. Perfect for our needs, and nice and quiet away from downtown but still walkable to there or can ride a bike to downtown very easily. Will definitely stay again!

Absolutely beautiful grounds. We were here when the property was about 1/3 full and it was perfect. If it were during high season I think the pools would be too crowded for me. Lots of kids, awesome for families. Dining was excellent and staff very responsive. For over $700 per night they need to dial it up a little- no espresso machine, hot tub not accessible from the adult pool, etc. AMAZING massage with Mack. Would definitely go back!

This was supposed to be a calm, relaxing Birthday family getaway for my spouse. There was a racing event at the raceway nearby for the whole weekend. From 5-10pm you would just hear the races going on pretty loudly. You could hear the races poolside, while outside dining, etc. Not sure if this can be an option in the future, but maybe a notification to potential customers before booking that may be expecting the quiet, Calistoga vibes. There were a few other guests we spoke to that felt the same. There is no sound barrier between the first and second floors. If you are on the first floor you will hear EVERYTHING happening on the 2nd floor. On our 2nd day someone had defecated in the family pool. The pool had to shut down for the next 24 hours. We were a family of four with an 11 and 16 year old during what the front desk stated was the “hottest weekend of the year”. When the pool shut down I asked if the adult pool would be an option, but was told no. We went back to our room for a few hours to look for something to do in the heat. Eventually we noticed families had moved to the adult pool which was nice, but we had missed a few hours in the meantime. Overall, not a quiet, relaxing getaway as we had hoped for our first time in Calistoga.

Really nice property but the layout isn’t great. Pools are nice. The bartender and waitperson for dinner were awesome. The pizza is GREAT as is the hummus. The unacceptable shower curtain in 118 needs to be replaced with glass.

We had a great 3 night stay. The pool was great as well as the hot tub, we wish we had more time to use them! Food at fleetwood was okay. It was nice to have it close by. We were on the bottom floor so we heard the guests walking upstairs the entire night but otherwise the resort was peaceful. Parking was easy and included with the resort fee. The only issue was a charge to my room that wasn’t from us. They need to be a little more strict on who can charge what, but they resolved it no problem. Overall great stay for the price and we would stay again!
