Wonderful stay

Exactly as represented. Vitor assisted getting us settled and with his knowledge of local feasts and happenings. House had EVERYTHING you could possibly need while staying there. Clean and quiet. Vitor assisted us with baggage to and from the rental. Three minute walk uphill from the street parking, as noted in their VRBO ad. Would stay here again

Blissful Stay in Arco da Calheta

Lovely property, great view, real authentic experience of the island. Ideal for couples looking to explore. Many amenities very close by shops,restaurants, beaches only 30minutes from Funchal it was perfect!

We enjoyed this little get-away where we stayed 8 nights.

This home is all you need for your casual vacation. It's settled in the middle of a banana plantation, overlooking the Atlantic ocean. Daily calls from the rooster next door and daily visitor from three friendly stray cats, made our time fun and restful. The barking of dogs in the surrounding was sometimes a bit annoying. We got our daily exercise by parking the car on the street and walking the rather steep 5 minutes to our home. We enjoyed taking drives around the island. Everything seems just minutes away and after 2 weeks we had a pretty good idea of the beauty of this flower island. Victor was very helpful both upon arrival and departure. I'm sure we'll be back. It was a lovely break from our cold Canadian weather.

Prima verblijf, fantastisch uitzicht, mooi ruim huis, zeer sympathieke en behulpzame contactpersoon/beheerder. Matrassen tweepersoons bed zijn matig. 2,5 minuut van de straat af naar het huis te lopen tussen de bananenbomen went snel.

Everything was perfect, we loved our vacation in Madeira and in this house with a perfect view. Vitor and Ana were very kind and, even if anything is very far at Madeira, we enjoyed the location of Arco da Calheta to do our daily hikes and to rest at the beach of Calheta. The weather was also very good in comparison of other location in the isle. Thank you very much !

Perfect stay among Bananas

This house is amid banana plants with a wonderful view to the ocean and mountains. A short walk from the street to the house is no problem and you can see how they grow, handle and harvest the bananas here. Vitor is very kind and helpful, if you have questions. He waited for us although our plane came very late in the night.

Wohnen im Bananenhain

Wir haben eine Woche in diesem sehr schönen Ferienhaus verbracht. Es liegt in einem Bananenhain und bietet einen wunderbaren Ausblick auf das Meer und die Berge. Die Terrasse geht um das Haus herum, so dass man je nach Wunsch in der Sonne oder im Schatten sitzen kann. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, in der Küche ist viel Geschirr von guter Qualität vorhanden und der neue Gasofen funktioniert einwandfrei. Die Anreise war sehr gut beschrieben, so dass wir das Haus ohne Schwierigkeiten gefunden haben. Wir können das Haus auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und sagen "Muito Obrigado" an Ana und Victor.

Maison spacieuse sur les hauteurs. Bien équipée et très propre et calme. Nous avons adoré prendre nos repas sur la terrasse au milieu des bananiers avec vue sur l'océan.
