Based on photos, I was looking forward to this accommodation. Sadly, it didn't meet our expectations, we left early, and booked somewhere else for 2 nights.The view is just like the photos - it is a stunning location. The interior of the apartment looks like the photos, if a bit more dated.We booked to stay here for 3 nights and upon our arrival, we immediately felt disappointed. There were a lot of bugs/insects inside the apartment. We spent the first 40 minutes trying to get rid of them (including a huge centipede) because we didn't want them around us while sleeping. We then found a cockroach in a corner of the bedroom, which is not what you want to see in an accommodation you're paying for. The cockroach scurried away so we never ended up finding it, which made us feel uneasy.We also noticed that the apartment wasn't especially clean - there were cobwebs in corners, dead insects on the floor, and a layer of dust on both bedside tables like they hadn't been wiped in a while. I was the one who cleaned them.Finally, there was an extremely stale/musty smell coming from the closet in the bedroom. When the closet door was closed, you could smell it, but when opening the closet, the smell immediately multiplied. It was immensely off-putting and made us feel uncomfortable yet again. I'm surprised that the owner would rent the place out with such an unpleasant smell.If I could go back in time, I wouldn't book this and instead I'd pay for a more well-reviewed place.
