A one night stay

The price was ok for a one night stay. However the room had a broken airconditioner with masking tape holding the vent to the window. The airconditioner was also very load because of this. The ice machine was broken. The bed was comfortable and the room clean.

I booked my room on September 7, 2025, hoping to get some rest after a long day. When I got my key, the hallway smelled like urine. Inside the room, the air conditioning was not working. I asked to change rooms, but was told none were available. I could not open the window for fresh air, and it was very hot. The staff gave me a fan, but it was still uncomfortable. I also smelled cigarette smoke in the room, likely from people smoking inside. Because of the heat and the smell, I barely slept.

The front desk check in girl was very attentive and kind, even though the phone did not stop ringing. The building is older, but they try to accommodate. Beds are clean and comfortable, very close to everything, reasonably priced and managed well for an older building.

the rooms were not in great condition. the taps all dripped, the adjoining room door handle was broken, the pool wasn't very clean. rhete wasno working ice machines and the exterios side stairs were "fixed" with spray foam.(not a safe walkway)

The service at the front desk was excellent. The area has a lot of traffic and trains coming by, but at the price range i thought that was a good compromise. Beds were clean and the room was well maintained. I would suggest that the residence look into renovating the shower, mainly the tub. It was all scratched up and looked like it hadn't been updated in decades. We found hair and eyelashes in the sheets when we arrived as well. Overall we enjoyed our two nights and will probably come back here as its close to downtown and the freeway.

A bit sketchy

Dated rooms, C train right behind hotel, every ice machine was out of order, some questionable people staying at the hotel, room smelled dingy, not the cleanest, hotel staff was very friendly and polite. Probably won’t ever go back though.
