The location is excellent, the breakfast is very good, clean hotel but the rooms are small and the wall paper is dated. The staff are helpful but some of them has limited information about tourism in the city and the surrounding areas. However they did their best to help.

Fun Zagreb

This is a very old and quite beautiful court! There is a lot of construction after the earthquake. Right after they finished repairs out after the previous, there was another two years ago, again damaging the cathedral and many more buildings. I stayed at the Dubrovnik Hotel right on the town square, right in the middle of town. It was the only hotel I saw near the center of town. There are more cafes and every kind of food you could ever imagine! I also got a Thai massage for €50, or I should say several! At first I thought it was a shady kind of massage but it was completely legitimate and very clean. Everything in the downtown area is expensive compared to outlying area, but nothing that was outrageous. Enjoy your stay! I’m coming back one day! I am 6’2” or 188cm. I was literally dwarfed by the 16-30 age group! Even be many of the women! I researched this to see if it was an anomaly. It was not. They carry a gene from 30,000 years ago and make creations on the Dalmatian coast the tallest people in the world! The average male height for 18-30 years there is 185cm (6’0")! AVERAGE!!! And everyone i spoke with was very friendly and very helpful! And for you Americans, nearly everybody speaks, or at least understands English.

Great location

Nice hotel in a good location. Parking is not really convenient. Can easily walk to the trains and most of the tourist sights. Depending on the activities in the square, it can be a little loud.

The staff were really helpful and friendly, but forgot to bring me extra pillows though. The whole hotel is very tired and in need of renovation, as it doesn’t appear to have been since the 1990’s. Air con very noisy and doesn’t work properly also.

Hotel is great. They have some strange rukes though. Such as you can only get your towels from 10 am to 11 am or from 4 pm yo 5 pm. If you miss it you are out of luck. Not enough umbrellas and chairs for the guests. Expedia failed to inform us that in an all inclusive hotel we were booked for a half board. Expedia just booked us with a package they decided we should have without ever asking us or informing us about it.. Room with a see view paid extra for the view got us into a room with one pint of a see view. Not happy at all Expedia people!!!!!!!
