Accor Hotels - accommodation in Caen

A warm reception from the staff, good English which always makes me feel guilty! Clean, comfortable and well maintained with every staff member engaging, helpful and professional. Rooms were comfy, food although a limited choice, was well prepared and tasty. Breakfast though was a little light on choice, but was ok. It has a small gym and a heated pool. My one little criticism is if it's raining there is nowhere outside that is covered. What i mean is there are no overhanging shelters of any kind. So if you are a smoker then rain will mean you need an umbrella. Other than that, plenty of parking, good location close to the memorial museum and only 30 mins from the ferry

The staff was very helpful!! The room was efficient and clean! The Breakfast was excellent, great variety and quality. Very close to the train station.

It took us a while to figure out how to get into parking lot gate as instructions weren’t very clear. We arrived in evening so it is not clear to see surroundings. Otherwise, it is ok to stay.
