Nice views, difficult check-in
The property had amazing views, as pictured. Showers are super small, but not completely atypical in Spain. It would have been nice to have some beach towels available at the property. We found out after inquiring that we would need to drive 15 min away to rent 2 towels and an umbrella for a large fee. We had 4 people so that would have been double for 2 more towels. Instead, we found that you could rent a beach chair right out front for a small fee for the day. I missed that an email would be coming from a rental group that was not VRBO so wasn't on the look out for that email that had the check-in instructions, for which we needed to download an app in order to unlock the doors. By the time we arrived, it was harder to download since we didn't have strong wifi at a nearby restaurant. Once set up, using the app to open the door was slick, but also reliant on your phone. It would have been nice to have actual keys as a back up. One time we had to race back to the apartment when all our phones were low on battery after a day out. Else we'd have been locked out. There wasn't really a person to reach out to; just emailing the rental group. They never did provide info on where we could park a car, even after I asked. There were no napkins or paper towels in the kitchen, which also would have been nice.

Amazing time in Cadiz!
You are steps away from the beach. Amazing layout. Restaurants close by and an amazing terrace to enjoy. Great layout of the apartment and the hosts were so helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had! We will be back.

Cádiz…. Ein Traum am Atlantik!
Eine Stadtwohnung direkt gegenüber dem Atlantik !!
Der Standort ist traumhaft schön. An der Wohnung muss man vielleicht ein paar Dinge klarstellen, die zur Information für zukünftig buchende dienen sollen.
Der Check in ist absolut gewöhnungsbedürftig. Ältere Menschen werden damit enorme Probleme haben, da dieser ausschließlich über einen Link auf dem Smartphone funktioniert. Bei uns kam erschwerend hinzu, dass nach einer anstrengenden Anreise der Link erst mal nicht funktionierte und der Handwerker kommen musste, damit wir überhaupt in die Wohnung gelangt sind. Nachdem dieser da war und alles neu eingestellt hat, funktionierte es bis zur Abreise problemlos.
Der zweite Knackpunkt ist sicherlich die Anreise mit einem Kfz Fahrzeug. Um die Wohnung rum gibt es so gut wie keine normalen Parkplätze. Eine Nacht in einem Parkhaus, das circa 500 m entfernt ist, kostet 20 €! Wir haben dann Gott sei Dank durch längeres Suchen in der näheren Umgebung Jedes Mal einen Parkplatz gefunden.
Die Wohnung hat drei Schlafzimmer und soll für sechs Personen ausgestattet sein. Das ist sie definitiv nicht! Wir waren mit vier Erwachsenen (zwei Schlafzimmer genutzt) und es gab maximal vier Weingläser und Kaffeetassen. Sollte man mit mehr als vier Personen anreisen müsste hier separat noch nach gekauft werden.
Die Wohnung liegt im ersten Stock direkt über mehreren Restaurants. Wenn die Restaurants geöffnet haben, ist die Balkonnutzung sehr eingeschränkt durch die Küchenabluft der Gastronomie…
